myriad Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 I am available. I can write hello world programs in python, c, c++, javascript and probably in Basic and #NET too, with only 4 errors on each line (including the blank ones) I am sure that will meet your QA and that the error density will be a lot less then the stuff you throw at us. *sigh* Another run of Skyrim gone because of stupid bugs and errors. 2Gb log file of a 5 minute game session. Why do I even bother playing it. Sorry, just had to vent my frustration.
Hæretic Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 Hey be fair, it isn't Bethesda's fault if a fully modded skyrim is crashing. I mean their games are buggy no doubt about that but if we put another stack of half buggy mods on top of that we can't blame them... Unless of course, this was vanilla skyrim producing a 2gb log file, in that case... shame on you Bethesda!
Amilyn Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 Try to write on their official forums, they might hire you

Gameplayer Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 I am soo pre-ordering the next TES game you work on!

That's true and all, but why would a company offer mod support on a piece of shite platform making it a burden instead of enjoyment? If you don't have the stable backbone everything else crumbles with it.
DeathToCaesar Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 Ah, if they were kind of people who released games with zero bugs they probably wouldn't be the kind of people who'd let us away with so much stuff. i have plenty of gripes about the standard of customer-care, especially with ck, but nobody else is providing for us unfortunately. if cdpr could fill the gap next time around I'd move.
myriad Posted September 19, 2016 Author Posted September 19, 2016 In this case it was a mod that wrecked havoc, and yes, i am taxing the game (and my system) a bit. But still...sometimes amazed at the stuff that gets fucked up. Cattle falling from the sky, mudcrabs falling through the floor, market stall in Windhelm always drops its weapons when I even dare look at it and the list goes on and on. Started taking screenshots for some time but gave up on that, was just too much. I hope one of these days 32 bit truly dies and so does single threadedness. About my new game, it will have an infinite world with infinite amount of NPC's all custom unique voices and quests. No radiant quest, no fetch and carry. Game will be fully extendible and will run on your mobile phone as well as on clusters. Expect the stuff to be highly interactable and ofc all the usual physics (hair, cloth, bb, tbb, tbbp, bptb, pbbtbb etc). Release data tba, probably in the far distant future. K. a little in defense of Betasoft, it is cool they release the tools to make mods and it is the mods that keep me playing it (so thanks to all the modders out there) *sigh* Another run of Skyrim gone because of stupid bugs and errors. 2Gb log file of a 5 minute game session. No, just papyrus . heard the hdd writing like a madman so was kind of expecting something huge, just not that huge!
NNS10 Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 if cdpr could fill the gap next time around I'd move. If CDProjekt ever did that, it'd be awesome, and it'd also be gg for Bethesda.
vpoteryaev Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 My wife plays in VANILLA Skyrim and sometimes catches CTDs and oddies. So if original code has bugs afterward all ours mods with own bugs multiply them - we have what we have. Anyway, it better then nothing. By the way, if needed I can recall even my Assembler knowladge, but this won't help.

Why do I even bother playing it. the one that made that mess is you... because you use fail mods, or failed to find/made patchs for mod a and b that should not be use together and the result is a log full of stack dumps, you didn't bother posting or opening (the problem is in the stack dump, good luck findind it) so your save is dead, many things are broken and you may crash thanks to them everything is done on that save, skyrim, dawnguard, dragonborn, some mods (3dnpc, falskaar, summerset, helgen reborn...) it's because of that it's huge, everything from the load order that get edited, is put in the save, quests, npcs, dialogs, scripts... here's a log of that save, there's isn't much in it despite my load order (most of those errors were taken care of since then) Papyrus.0.log
myriad Posted September 20, 2016 Author Posted September 20, 2016 the one that made that mess is you... Ofc it is me, it always is the player, the guy behind the keyboard. Yes I am fully aware of the save cleaner program, the stacks, the active scripts etc and the module load order. Been playing this game for some years now, it will fail sooner or later unless you want to backtrack on countless hours of gameplay by loading an old save and stay away of most mods. Think this gameplay was fucked because of Beeing (again) and some weird shit happening to a follower (Recorder) when she ran into a trap and lost her body and her face was reset to something horribly ugly. Didn't notice until some hours later tbh and then didn't bother of restarting cos thought would go away after dismissing her and restarting skyrim. Guess thought wrong. About your log, mine look like that, until things blow up. And things do blow up. Always. Maybe because I am a pessimist, maybe because deep down in my unconscious I do love replays and my brain wave mess with the bits, maybe because I just love to live dangerously and like blowing things up. Anyway i do hope you noted the sarcasm in my initial post... My wife plays in VANILLA Skyrim and sometimes catches CTDs and oddies. So if original code has bugs afterward all ours mods with own bugs multiply them - we have what we have. Anyway, it better then nothing. By the way, if needed I can recall even my Assembler knowladge, but this won't help. Oh assembly, yes, did something with Turbo Assembler as well back then (way back then). Int 13h is all that i recall. It did something. So Beta, i can do some assembly too! Now they must hire me as lead programmer for sure.
