New Player Mod Suggestions

I was recently looking at Skyrim and I'll admit I was piqued by the possibilities for mods in this game. However I'm a bit overwhelmed at the plethora of options available since the modding community has grown exponentially ever since I saw the game come out.

Basically I was wondering if the modding community can have any suggestions for a female player.

  • What body mods would you recommend?
  • Following that what mods would you suggest? Primarily I'm looking from a female perspective if that helps you narrow down anything.
  • I'm a fan of risk play & breeding as a consequence if that helps narrow down anything! Other than that I'm open to a lot of ideas both vanilla and outright unique.

Sorry if this is the inappropriate place so a moderator can feel free to delete it if there is a more appropriate place for suggestions!

Thanks again,

For body mods practically everyone here will tell you 'CBBE/Bodyslide'.  I'm not a fan so I suggest exploring options and deciding for yourself which one to use.

There as SO MANY follower mods available it's impossible to cover them all.  I focus on individual followers and I avoid overhauls.  But an overhaul might be your thing.

For breeding and sex with consequences just do an LL tag search for pregnancy.  You'll be bombarded with choices.

For the vanilla game, one must have mod for me is Random Vampire Attacks in Towns Disabled.  It removes the spawning suicide squads that have somehow got past the gate guards.  Timing is Everything is also a must-have for me.  Live Another Life is pretty popular, but it changes vanilla scripts so be sure to make a back up of the original Scripts folder that was installed with the game, just in case you don't like it.

My one real suggestion is don't go crazy installing Sexlab or Devious Devices mods.  Try a few at a time because the more you stack in the more likely it is that you'll have problems.

Thank you for the suggestions! Apologies for the late reply however as I was busy. I've been checking out some mods lately and I was wondering is there a general order to how mods should be ordered?

E.g. Script mods before animations, animations before etc.
