Versh Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 Hi everyone, I'm actually trying to achieve a simple task using the bodyslides, but so far without luck. The goal: I'd like to use 2 (or more) different bodyslides -One with the Naked body, with the standard HTD and a specific 'gravity' -One with the clothed/armored version (with a rigid version of the HTD) with a different set of slider (more cleavage etc.). So far I've tryied to (with some variants) Build the Body HDT alone -> Change the saved preset of sliders-> Batch build the outfits with the other preset. But the results were variable (and not acceptable: compenetration/etc.) and always with the HDT of a naked body. Could someone give me some hints about?
hexenhaus Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 If i am not wrong you need for batch converting saved presets. So if you just tweak sliders and then hit convert it resets to your chosen preset. So 1st make 2 sets and save both, then repeat your steps without single sliderchanges.
Yuni Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 Whether or not an outfit has the HDT of a naked body is dependent on the outfit itself, as well as the skeleton you have installed. It might also depend on the type of body used to convert the outfit. But if what you wanted was outfits that don't have boob bounce, don't install outfits with boob bounce. That's an attribute of the outfit, NOT your sliders. Many outfits on the nexus offer with and without bounce versions. SOME rare outfits (like bikinis and some types of skirt) just sit on top of the body instead of replacing it. Normally when you put on a pair of pants in skyrim, you're actually putting on a whole NEW SET of legs. This allows the body type to vary. But these certain outfits (such as Restrictive Boots in Devious Devices) do not replace the body mesh, and changing their shape in Bodyslide will NOT change the shape of the body underneath.
Versh Posted September 9, 2016 Author Posted September 9, 2016 Ok, tnx everyone for the hints, here the result for general knowlege, in case someone else search info about: Create two identical preset and save each one (one for Naked, one for Clothed) Customize the preset and re-save (Example: Naked body and another with anti-gravity boobs) Build the Base Body with the Naked Preset Batch build all the clothing that goes on a naked body (like piercings) Switch to the Clothed preset Batchbuild all the Clothings (using the filter to keep things in order) using the HDT version or not when needed (for example: Heavy Armor No HDT, light armor/clothing HDT) Output: Naked Body with HDT & gravity Clothed body with/without HDT depending on the type (like clothing HDT & Full plate Rigid) with a different body structure. Note: HDT works individually for each "body" meshes (body/armor/clothing) but is configurated by a single file for everything that use it. So for example, you can enable/disable for a specific outfit the HDT (if the clothing support the HDT) but you can't change HOW the HDT works for THAT specific outfit and make it work differently for another.
