Guest Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 So whats up to the new smp dlls? Is there further development ? Any improvements? Are there any new xml files or bodies released?
aquaraider11 Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 XML Format changed a little bit. Thats as far as i know... Also i m hoping that hydrogen fixed spring constraints, through i m not sure how to test them.
iron_jack Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 It's been around for a while now (over a year) but it never really took off. Largely because of the OpenCL 2.0 requirement, which NVidia cards don't support. So there goes half the market for it, right off the bat. If you are interested in learning how to use it yourself, (or if you are in fact capable of using it, hardware-wise) see this thread, particularly the last 4-5 pages.

Actually you're right, did some reading, looks like newer Intel procs can handle it, even if your graphics card can't share the load. Hmm. Might have to look into it again.

merryMalfunctioning Posted September 20, 2016 Posted September 20, 2016 I thought development of SMP stopped back in 2014. Have there been any recent releases or dev builds?
27X Posted September 20, 2016 Posted September 20, 2016 yep. Check the last two pages of the SMP thread for a download.
