silentgator Posted July 24, 2017 Author Posted July 24, 2017 Will be resuming work on Lost Will in under a week or 2, taking a small break from travel and dealing with people, just a heads up may be slow on the startup of working, felt annoyed the entire time i had to deal with work, and the breaks didnt really help much at all, but ill get back into the earlier side project work flow slowly, or right away dont know yet, going to spend a bit to relax where i dont have other shit on my mind. As i just realized i had forgotten to update this forums thread when i had to go, i owe anyone who pays attention to this project on here a apology, I am sorry, i had to deal with real life work for a while there, and traveled around, so most of my free time was spent in games or relaxing at hotels or otherwise, and most of it wasnt as pleasent as it may sound, but i am back now, just going to take a lil bit of time to get myself back to where i was when i was working on this side project earlier.
sen4mi Posted July 25, 2017 Posted July 25, 2017 I tried this and soon ran into an error on the left side bar: Error: <<silently>>: error within contents (Error: <<set>>: bad evaluation: Unexpected token if) This was after working a second day selling groceries all day and then going straight to sleep.
silentgator Posted July 30, 2017 Author Posted July 30, 2017 I tried this and soon ran into an error on the left side bar: Error: <<silently>>: error within contents (Error: <<set>>: bad evaluation: Unexpected token if) This was after working a second day selling groceries all day and then going straight to sleep. Hmmm, strange, but easy to find, pretty sure i have a broken IF my keyboard seems to love making me fuck up when im writing code statements, ill have a quick look, and upload it, since that seems like its game breaking. On a side note, im taking a bit of time to track down another writer for side events and other stuff that they may be willing to contribute. This kind of endeavor never really works out for me, seem to be covered in writer repellant or somthing, however going to keep trying, and will be getting back to the content im working on and the systems for the general game soon enough. anyways @sen4mi - thanks for the bug report.
silentgator Posted July 30, 2017 Author Posted July 30, 2017 Mmmm seems like that would have been found sooner, but whatever wasnt game breaking, but i did fix it, as it broke the cleanliness function, would just mean you would probly not see how dirty your character was, and get that annoying error. anyways its been fixed (however it was one of the broken aspects of that system not near the other parts, so i will have to go through that system to make sure i have it how it was intended earlier, been a bit of time since i was moving around my codebase, but it will stop giving the error and SHOULD work as i intended it to, either way i have to go through and clean everything up when i get back into full power on my coding, so will be delt with during that time if it has a weird behavior unless someone notices it while im doing my look around, in that case it takes 2 seconds to get back to that section of the code so ill just quick update it again.)
