I never knew there was an interior fog remover until you mentioned it. I f*ing HATE interior fog. Sometimes you can't even see because of the fog. And now... *POOF* gone I am really chuffed. Thanks SO much! Oh and I have tried Hialgo Boost before. It worked really well when I had my old biddy PC still. But it did make me motion sick on some occassions when it kicked in...

Albeit with a compliment thrown in about awesomeness, which beats what they called me in the early days. Anyhows. Judging from the considerable amount of issues (mostly random CTD) reported in this forum , i'm starting to think that nobody at all is enjoying a somewhat stable game. Answer: Some are, but many indeed do not for various reasons. The 32 bit architecture is killing is, keeping fingers crossed for Skyrim Remastered with its 64 bit engine. *How many mods would you consider safe to add? 50? 100? 200? Answer: You can break your game with just one mod. Max is 255 or 254, I forget. The more mods you add the higher the skill level need it to make it all work right. Right deffined by acceptable ctd level. *Does the number of installed texture mods influence stability? even if they're all optimised to a minimalistic 1k with ordenador? Yes, they do. It all counts. 1024k is a good compromise though. Go no higher. *Wrye bash is asking me to activate "auto-ghosting" what is it and what does it do? Say no to this one!!! Will merge mods together and rename the ones it merges to reduce your number of mods in the load order. Sounds good, but becomes a nightmare if you upgrade mods on a regular basis. Keeping track becomes hell. *I have a Bashed patch , would it be useful to create also a merged patch with tes5edit? Anser: big big yes. Proceed as user described. They do different things and will add stablity and comnpatability between mods. *Do i ABSOLUTELY have to use loot or can i just sort my load order with common sense (to decide what overwrights what) Answer: use loot to get a baseline, then tweak with common sense. A note on my mods. They push the envelope because my mods provide new dynamic encounters , creating npcs as needed. I do not care who you are, how wonderful a modder you are, Skyrim HATES npcs that are created out of thin air after the game starts. It is not designed for it and has toruble allocating memory for them. Until the memory fix giving us more blocks of memory it was almost impossible to use large mods. But now with crash fix making that fix obsolete and giving us a lot more memory to use, along with excellent error trapping, we can use mods such as mine and enjoy a stable game. I can play with most of my mods for many hours without a ctd and many can as well. My flagship mod Sands of Time has tons of positive posts and still gets several endorsements each and every day. For users who cannot handle Sands of Time I offer a more lightweight encounter mod in the form of Genesis. An almost scriptless solution. Peace. Tonycubed2

Would just like to note down the few things that can turn your 15 minute playthroughs to 3-4 hours. (anything over 2 hours is damn stable for me anyway) Quality of your Card can help, better card the better everything runs, better skyrim runs, less likely to crash i guess Having appropriate configurations, crash fixes, skse.in. enblocal.ini. skyrim.ini etc etc, i mean done correctly these things just inject some powerful skooma into your skyrim Of course the main one, is not not go crazy with power like i do, my load order is 133.esps and probably goes by 5 everyday, i just be very careful into what i add in. When i want to add a script mid/heavy mod in, i make sure to remove a script mid/heavy mod in, balances stuff out makes sure my skyrim doesent collapse itself, always make sure to stay away from the big'uns like Wet and Cold and Footprints. and last but not alteast, you can have as many mods as you want, as long as they only add Meshes/Textures/Interface you could probably much install every armour on the nexus merge into one plug-in and be fine. doesen't really matter how many .esp's you have, it just matters how much of an impact they have. Also if if you plan on installing old mods that have been updated since like 2013, i would suggest reading through the posts in case of any knew crashes have arisen from previous victims. -Dissapears back to thy cave
Kakabishan Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 I used to have the same issues then I found out that as soon as I received the letter from the Yarl in Falkreath my game would start becoming unstable little by little. it was actually a bug fix mod I had installed for a long long time which adjusted the build times for hearthfire houses when outfitting them through the steward dialog. Once I removed that things became very stable for me. I have 205 active esps and many texture and mesh overwrites and I feel my game is as stable as it is without them installed at all. Do you know what mod it is from? I've been getting letters from the Jarl of Falkreath when I haven't even visited falkreath or done anything.
dTd Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 You get those letters at a certain level no matter what. You can use a mod like "Timing is Everything" to set the level or delay which many quests use. The mod I was talking about earlier is called "Hearthfire Furnishing Fixes".
