Dooge Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 I would like to add animations to my mod, but how do I know what is available? How do I preview the animations of different mods?
SirNibbles Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 You can either follow some tutorials to convert the animation files into 3ds Max readable format so you can check them in 3ds Max, or test them out in game. Additionaly most animators got previews of their animations on blogs or on their download page.

I'm after the fastest and easiest way just to look through a lot of animations.

If you are looking for one specific animation maybe you can contact an animator to make a new one though? Darkevilhum volunteered to create some for you over at your "SLUT" page (if this question is for that mod )

Darkevilhum volunteered to create some for you over at your "SLUT" page (if this question is for that mod ) I'm at the point where I don't even know what is available in the vanilla game. Can't see even vanilla ones in the CK. I would like to add animations to my mod, but how do I know what is available? How do I preview the animations of different mods? Dooge Posted August 14, 2016 Author Posted August 14, 2016 OK I can see stuff in CK, under actor, animations tab. Vanilla, or perhaps all animations for 1 actor. Very useful already. So, I can see many animations, but then they are not available to pick as idle properties. Why? What? Compare the images. Most of the animations are missing from the list that is used to pick them for packages (same for script properties). Tons of animations starting with special_ in the preview window and none on the list where you actually pick them. I'm confused.
Dooge Posted August 14, 2016 Author Posted August 14, 2016 OK the animation needs instance here: http://www.creationkit.com/index.php?title=Idle_Animations Before it shows in the property list
