Or a mod that alters in some sexual ways heath/stamina/magika? Arousal is a custom property (like an actor value) and it is fully managed by Arousal. Health/Stamina/Magicka are vanilla Actor Values, and every mod can read and use them.

Maybe just for some special spells. And we all know how we can "regenerate" the arousal resource ;-) "I may the out of mana, but I'm still not horny enough to end this fight!"

Well, i'm not a modder but afaik it's no problem to use arousal as a trigger for example, or to block something until it's high enough. I think it's no problem to change arousal (be it increase or decrease) for certain actions, several mods do that. For explicit instructions you should probably look for a documentation or just ask how to do it.

I don't mean to sound rude and do appreciate it when someone is trying to help but I am "just asking how to do it." If anyone knows where the documentation is and posts it here so I can us it I will be happy as well. If I'm approaching the problem from the wrong angle or if there is a better way to approach it even I will be happy to be informed. I am not looking to use arousal just as a trigger necessarily. I am not looking to just change it higher or lower though that is certainly a part of what I am looking to do. And there is a fair amount of example that I can find that will show exactly how that is done. It still only answers part of the problem. The problem is whether the arousal value generated through Aroused redux can be used as it's own usable resource such as magicka. Is there a way to cast a spell or spell like ability such as fireball that uses arousal but absolutely no magicka or stamina? Can I use arousal as the resource that is spent for the ability? If so how can I do it or where is the right set of documentation or tutorials that would help me do so? If not then is there another way to approach this goal? My google skills have not been good enough to find the answer or documentation that answers the question I have.

It may be that I need to do something similar to those mods. I would like to use arousal directly for a few reasons, chief among them being mods that already exist that increases it such as Devious Devices or even just checking off exhibitionist in Aroused itself. Secondly Aroused redux carries massive penalties to skill advancement. It irritates me. Rather than just turning it off all the time I want to see if I can turn it into a trade off mechanic. Give a reason to want to generate arousal and to reliably burn it when you need to. If I can work directly with the arousal value itself to achieve this goal I would be very happy. I am keeping in mind that there may be no way to do what I am looking at or even simply a smarter way. I appreciate the thought but I'd like to experiment with the original idea before trying an alternative like the mods you pointed out above for now.

This post made it much clearer (to me) what you actually want to achieve, didn't get that before. By asking how to do it i meant something more specific like "what's the command to get/set arousal in SLAR?", at least that question would probably be answered by now because CPU for example knows it. Beside that, i see your point, it might work, but i see another than just technical difficulty: many mods work with this value to trigger things, some of them lock it (to max). So, by using this value as a resource, you can easily create a kind of "incompatibility" which would make your mod too easy or make it hard to trigger things in other mods. Imho it would be much less work to use an own value than to think about all the things that might happen even with the most common other mods here, and find a way to balance things. Up to you of course, but something you should consider before you make your decision.
