Nessa Posted July 30, 2016 Posted July 30, 2016 View File Birthday Suits No update except to say: Oh yeah, anybody is free to use this in any mod they dream up. No need to ask for permission or anything. FAQ What the heck is this!?This will remove the sexist blocky black bra from all the human women portraits. (Also I admit I gave the ugly African a bit of a nose job. It didn't help much...) How can I even use this?To see any naughty bits in game, you'll need to make a new outfit and point it to the included "generic_nude_suit.dds". What this will do in game is give pop/leaders an invisible outfit. (This works for human guys too!!)For examples of how this is done (and how to make outfits show up in game) check out my Drow or Elves Stellaris mods. Why are you releasing this?Because I have no interest in messing around with humans at all. But since I have the resources lying around maybe somebody could get some use out of them. Why in the world did you make this!?Honestly? Because I wanted a particular low-cut gown for my Drow and the idiotic blocky bra was getting in the way! Since I had to redo the base chest area anyway... I figured... why not? Why did you give the African a nose job!? That's racist! OR: Why is the bra sexist!? Aside from either of those terms having no real meaning in the modern world anymore.... actually I find it rather sexist AND racist that Paradox makes all their African and Asian women SO FREAKING UGLY. The guys are OK, what's with the hideous women!??? AND WHERE ARE THE INDIANS!? ARGH!!! I'd have totally redone the asian girl except I found you can't move the eyes around without messing with new "animations". Perhaps I will do that at some point however! Until then well... maybe she's just having a bad day. (Which could be said for every. Single. Woman. In. Stellaris. ) Submitter Nessa Submitted 07/30/2016 Category Adult Mods Requires Stellaris!
furiousreason Posted July 30, 2016 Posted July 30, 2016 Wow, looks like UNP. [dds? hah)) ] Can you add bodyslide option?
Nessa Posted July 30, 2016 Author Posted July 30, 2016 Ugh, tell me about it. The chest is WAAAAY too huge for me. But I had to make it that large in order to suit the balloons that Paradox apparently assumes are normal.
Vaderfan Posted July 31, 2016 Posted July 31, 2016 Nice! Though now I can't decide whether I prefer boobs or the skin tones from this mod... why things are never easy?
Nessa Posted July 31, 2016 Author Posted July 31, 2016 Ooo. Yes, those are better skin tones. I did something similar for my Drow (not for the elves yet though hah). A lot of the Stellaris art is pretty washed out and bland. But then, I guess they were more interested in talking mushrooms than making humans look decent. It wouldn't be much to switch them over but that's for someone else. I'm just not into humans! By the way, the talking bananas (haha) are released on August 4th I think. Maybe we'll get a whole line of talking fruit?
Chicken 0 Nine Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 I can't believe even Stellaris has a nude mod... Anyway, that observation aside, I have to recommend it on the grounds that some mods add clothes that would usually reveal a big, ugly dark pixel nightmare which humans apparently have covering our chests, so with this mod it allows more mods to work without revealing that random chest black hole.
Nessa Posted August 11, 2016 Author Posted August 11, 2016 Which... was the reason I created these you know... It's not like I sat down one day and thought: "Stellaris needs a nude mod!" Besides... THIS is nudity? It's just a chest you can -barely- see if it's used in game!!
Pan4Mod Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 Dear Nessa, how could I run it? I can't see I could turn on this mod in-game. thank you.
SheepishNudist Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 Thank you for the resource! I already tried to use this to create a nudist mod (invisible clothing everywhere), but unfortunately many of the alien graphics are clearly unfinished or have evident seams if their clothing is removed. Hopefully some enterprising artist can clean them up. It doesn't make much sense to me that the aliens wear clothing in Stellaris. Perhaps I installed it wrong, but it also didn't seem to affect a smaller species icon that appears in the main menus? I couldn't find that graphic in the resources folder, though.
Nessa Posted August 17, 2016 Author Posted August 17, 2016 @Pan4Mod It's not really a mod per se, but a resource. You'd have to do the mod part yourself... or wait for someone else to use it. @Derydlus The main menus? Like... when you're picking a race before starting a game? I've only played around with the aliens very slightly. From what I recall, most of the decent looking races "cats, fox, etc." worked pretty well. Though now it seems plants wear clothes... or maybe it was just the stupid mushroom things... sometimes I can't tell the difference. Also you have to mess around quite a bit with the asset selector files for each race. There's a default clothing option that is usually set to something. (I even have my default elves/drow set to wear clothes as well.)
