Either that or the option to use a dedicated card is (for whatever silly reason) deactivated in BIOS. You'll never know what people who build the whole thing do to your BIOS or not. But since you can't access it for whatever reason... x.x *sighs*

I've never heard of someone not being able to access BIOS at all.

The graphics card placed into the PCI-E slot doesn't seem to get any power from the motherboard, otherwise the card would at least get warm and its fan would start to spin. You don't need to "enable" add-in cards from the BIOS in order to make them work. This particular motherboard seems to disable the integrated graphics as soon as it detects a graphics card, so perhaps changing the display priority in the BIOS settings isn't even necessary, as only one of them can work at a time.

However, there might be a jumper of some sort on the motherboard to enable the PCI-E slot, or perhaps some other trick. HP's support might help in that case.

There's still a possibility that the cards aren't seated properly. Perhaps there's something inside the slot that prevents them from going all the way down or something similar. This is a cheap-ass motherboard made with lowest quality components possible. One should expect these sorts of problems.

The gold connections on the card need to be lined up with the ones in the slot and you should not be able to see the ones on the card from outside, once the card is inserted in the slot.

It might be a good idea to clean up the slot using a vacuum cleaner or an air spray, especially if the motherboard has some dust on it.
