whiskeyii Posted July 28, 2016 Posted July 28, 2016 First off, sorry if this is the wrong forum; couldn't find a "troubleshooting" or "help" category. Anyways, basically what it says on the tin. I'd like to create a standalone male follower purely for shits and giggles. I took the time to make his face all nice and whatnot as a player character, and that's safely stored away in a nif file, but what about his body? As far as I know, there's only this small add-on for creating male bodies in Bodyslide (http://www.loverslab.com/topic/25609-male-body-for-bodyslide2-and-outfitstudio/), but otherwise, nothing. Is it possible to find the player's nif stored away somewhere? I'm using Mod Organizer, FYI. Or is there a way to export the body from Racemenu? Or a way to match up my pre-existing RaceMenu settings to the BodySlide sliders? Or do I just kind of free-hand it (again)? Or can I somehow use the .spf command and import the body that way in the Creation Kit? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Andy14 Posted July 28, 2016 Posted July 28, 2016 You can use OutfitStudio and Bodyslide (your Link) to create for your NPC a custom mesh in a custom folder.
whiskeyii Posted July 28, 2016 Author Posted July 28, 2016 Yeah, that much I figured out. My problem (I think) is that what I've been mistaking for a body nif is actually the skeleton changes RaceMenu makes. Turns out *that's* what I want to export. Is there any way for me to do that? Or should I go into nifskope and try to edit the skeleton that way?
