Follower Mods Preferences

Just curious what ppls prefs are for follower mods...

Since i rarely get a follower (prefer travel alone) i go for smaller.

I typically  go for smaller isntalls since all the follower mods I use are mainly for NPC Visual Transfer to replace Quest mod and vanilla NPC for more attractive NPC's.

You can't really go wrong with more options as long as you don't mind putting them in really. Sometimes it's for compatibility : No one likes to put a certain armor on his follower only for her to completely change body-size. Sometimes it's because you don't like the original haircut the author gave her, or simply prefer one available in the given options. It can also be a technical thing : not everyone uses HDT, and sometimes it being an option or not can make or break the mod. Sometimes it's the author itself who simply wasn't sure which haircut he preferred, and thus decided to put all of them in as options.

 

Overall, I wouldn't say that I won't look at any follower without a larger installer with different options. Many followers are more than cute enough to use as they are. But it's certainly a nice bonus to have and definitely worth the effort to add in.

first option obviously i don't use any follower the ones i have installed only to see how hot they are then dismiss

Which ever one makes it easier for me to edit. One is technically better as long as it isn't tied to a MCM menu.
