Help With FNIS

Every few times starting skyrim I would get Footik crash so I removed SLAnimLoader, PCEA2 and NSLA to reduce the load as I was over 6,000 Ani and at the same time I updated most of my mods. ( This is what i get for not testing each change ) Now I am stuck with the t pose.

After two days of reinstalling mods, verifying skyrim, testing and googling I am still not sure what I did wrong.

I followed the step guide in Dec 2015 , I use MO, Merge Plugins, Loot, Tes5edit custom patch, wrybash patch, xpmse, and I run generate FNIS without any errors.

I would love any tips or help, thanks in advanced.

Have you tried starting a new game to see if it is something messed up in your save file? Uninstalling scripted mods during game play is generally a big no-no because even if you turn a scripted mod off it's scripts are still in your save file causing problems. You might be able to clean the save with a save cleaner but that doesn't always work.

For Footik crash. Load a start save first. For example the last save you made after you had configured all you MCM's and before venturing into the world at large. Then load the offending save.

ps.

This assumes you use alternate start. If playing standard start you are basically screwed anyway.

pps

Best practice, (i think), is configure your MCM's, then do console command 'save s1'. (where s1 is your really short save name). Then whenever you start Skyrim, go to console, and type in console 'load s1'. If that loads, you are probably 92.3% likely that when you load the offending save you can start adventuring. This might seem long winded, but starting Skyrim and then going to a save which will more than likely bollocks up will take you more time in the long run, than loading a start save which works, then loading the offending save.

ppps

This assumes you don't fucking change anything in your load out between game starts.

pppps

Yep it's that fucked up.

ppppps

There is a shed load of advice on this matter already.

Edit:-

pppppps

People will advice going to the coc'ing to the test cell first. From my experience this seems a tad longer than just loading a save you know that works. However other peoples experiences might be different depending....

looks like the dreaded Tpose, when i get that reinstalling FNIS and reactivating it fixes it, you have to run it from the data folder if you run it from anywhere else it will do that

go to skyrim>data>tools and look for fnis or users and run it from there and make sure youre using xpms or xpmse (i reccomend xpmse)

As far as i know saves/scripts don't cause t-pos. But i do get the t pos in new games or old saves. I have read many of the forums but none of there solutions have worked for me.

I am using xpmse as i said, and I am using MO so i run it from inside Mod organizer as I have many times in the past this is the first time i have had this problem with my currant list of mods.

I think there is a file conflicting some ware i was hoping some one that knew how to read GenerateFNIS_LogFile.txt could help me identify it.

i dont use MO you could just install it manually by dropping the DATA folder in fnis in the DATA of skyrim, theres no harm because it doesnt overwrite anything since its a tool and NOT a mesh. texture, even an animation.

the point of MO is the virtual folders that dont touch the actual data folder so nothing in skyrim actually changes, but that is only thru MO... you know what that is your problem straight up, like i said you have to run it from inside Skyrim>Data>Tools. MO has virtual folders so its not there (i believe, like i said i dont use MO but you can verify yourself to see if its missing from your steam>steamapps>common>skyrim>data) because all the virtual folders.

like i said install it manually or from nmm and go run it from steam>steamapps>common>skyrim>data

fnis even tells you if you ran it in an inproper way, i know all tthis from experience with the dreaded T Pose from when i started out over a year ago

I think I did say for "For Footik crash". So that post was before you started removing stuff. For Tpos, basically your FNIS isn't right - but as it was obviously right before you started removing stuff, (by implication of your initial post), I just thought I'd stick my oar in and say 'Yeh!, Footik!, It's a thing live with it, just do a load start save first, then the offending save". Fairly sure this advice is on the FNIS Nexus page. Maybe people in the future will look back and say 'Really, is this how it was back then?'. Fucking people of the future with their tin foil hats and jetpacks.
