LibertyPrime Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 Ever since I started delving Undeath's dungeons (not sure if that's relevant or not - just letting it out there), my character's eyes have this weird, glowing 'light' behind them that are noticeable when I move the camera to certain angles. It's like it's a single source of light inside my character's head, and whenever I move the camera, I can see it 'clip' through my character's eyes. I'm fairly sure it's an actual FX effect instead of a graphical glitch because of how it behaves; if my character jumps, crouches or does any other fast movements, you can see a 'moving' effect next to the light, as if it were in slow-mo. I have loads from before the effect appeared so I could always rollback if needed, but that would make me lose about 5h of progress or so. Any ideas?
Kuroyami Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 I know some mods might offer a "cleanup" power, i.e one that can remove certain effects from your character if it remains after the duration of a spell has elapsed(like the Lost Grimore mod) - though these spells may only apply to effects added by the related mod. I don't think Undeath has such a thing, however. I know that if using the Extensible Follower Framework mod, if using the "Wheel" dialogue option, you can select the "Magic" slice, which normally is used for teaching spells known by the player to followers, but you can also switch to a spell list for the player, and in the Active Effects tab, it will list off all effects currently applied to the character, even those that do not show in the Active Effects tab in the Magic menu. This could be used to possibly find this effect, and then searching for it in the console may reveal it's id, which you can then remove from the character. Of course that is a lot to track down a issue like this, especially if you have to download and install EFF to do it. Another option is to check in TESVEdit, likely looking at the list of Magic Effects(MGEF, I think it's abbreviated to) in Undeath's esp file, and possibly find the one causing the problem.
par6six6 Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 If you have USLEEP installed, visit the cleansing shrine in the Temple of Kynareth in Whiterun. It can remove most effects that 'stick' to characters.
LibertyPrime Posted July 16, 2016 Author Posted July 16, 2016 Thanks, but it seems that all I had to do was google "Skyrim glowing eyes". http://www.loverslab.com/topic/20617-glowing-eyes/ Following the intructions seems to have fixed the problem.
guk Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 Not sure if this was mentioned in the replies, with MfgConsole installed you can also check lists of all active spells and enchants on any character.
