Maybe don't feed the troll? Tho it can be fun. And' date=' he's a nice reminder of what the Nexus can breed.

thesapien:It was a bit a of cheap shot on my part. If anyone's more of a troll here, it's me. I haven't made any mods to share and am not currently playing any games with mods. The most I've done is maybe help a few users with some general and technical problems. You're an actual contributor with a role in the community. And I really do appreciate seeing you active in the forums.

Also, I'm not entirely against trolling, so defending your actions with me isn't really necessary in this case. The reason I loosely labeled your response as "trolling" was because much of it resembled a quick "That is wrong" without enough substance for further investigation. As with name-calling, again, I'm not opposed to such responses because they still provide something. I've had people simply call me "stupid" and followed up with considering how it might be true. Not sure though how to respond to "gibberish", as an example from your reply, which is more like a full stop without knowing where the breakdown in communication broke.

Yes, I do agree that opinions are opinions. But I don't agree that a common or folk definition, left as a self reference, is all that enlightening. Gibberish?

I fully endorse the enlightened words in the above. That person can really be humble and nice.

Yeah but you need to stop drinking.:P

Open Letter to Gandalf the Unich:

You should watch the movie 'Mystery Men'--you and Mr. Furious share the same ability in snappy comebacks. :D

Quote Gandalf the Unich: "Could the nature of these replies been due to reasons other than the content of my post?yes"

You're correct--if you're going to call people you don't even know racists then you can expect anything--from anybody.

Every time I see this thread "...makes me feel like a woman" pops into my head. I can't for the life of me remember where that jingle/line comes from.

Damn you Gandalf for this brain teaser....it is give me fits!!!!!!!! :)

I don't know what may or may not have been handled by the admin, by this thread is going to get locked by this moderator unless things start feeling more adult in here.

I find it ironic that in a thread about how adult and respectful our community is, I have to do the internet equivalent of a dad threatening to turn the car around.

Gandalf the Unich asked what it has to do with me so I'll answer that: Stop picking on the weaker people in this world--or you're always eventually going to come up against people like me.

I don't like bully-boys.

Red wine. Made with the skin of the fruit. Good in the evening.

But you can't handle it,i mean you have to apologize in threads for your behavior because of it.I don't know how old you are but the younger you quit the better.I know i've been there.

Balance. The opposite could be self delusion. Maturity is relative to the maturity of the group.

Actually, I did the heart felt, warm fuzzy sorry and thanks in the ME3 thread after having some fine wine, responding to regrettable stuff I've said while being sober. A mature person can drink wine as a good thing. You couldn't handle it? Yeah, neither could my immature parents.

Why do you feel the need? It's completely unnecessary. I doubt anyone sees you as their daddy anyway.

I'm in agreement with that. :)

That actually made me smile.

You known, Loogie, we need more of this political uncorrectness--it makes the forums more interesting. It's not like we can actually hurt each other.

But we can sure show the people who we really are...:D

If you think your totally nonsense posting when you're drunk is controlling it you're mistaken.

If you kids want to wail on each other, have fun. I never claimed to be anyone's dad, just thought it ironic that the people in this thread are acting like they're in need of one.
