Guest Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 nah even with the new version only thing I can get working is npc/npc everywhere sex. still can't get followers and creatures to work. i'm using Extensible Follower Framework v402 not sure if it's incompatible or something but I added those plugins to the allowed mods list. I set to start on 'when target sees someone naked' for both creatures and followers, took of my clothes but still nothing, put a bunch of places to allowed locations and ran around for 30 mins naked still nothing. Post your papyrus log (after activation ALL the debug option), this is the only way to find where the problem can be.

Guest Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 There is an error: [12/31/2016 - 07:21:25PM] Error: Array index -1 is out of range (0-95) stack: [ssx (6B021278)].ssxrunner.updateAllNeededRaces() - "ssxRunner.psc" Line 6223 [ssx (6B021278)].ssxrunner.postInit() - "ssxRunner.psc" Line 2389 [alias PlayerLoadGame on quest ssx (6B021278)].ssxplayerloadsgame.doInit() - "ssxPlayerLoadsGame.psc" Line 105 [alias PlayerLoadGame on quest ssx (6B021278)].ssxplayerloadsgame.OnPlayerLoadGame() - "ssxPlayerLoadsGame.psc" Line 39 I will fix it.
Guest Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 ... Cannot really find the problem. Can you send me the full config file you are using? (Scent of Sex Config.json) Thank you Nevermind, found the error. It may happen when you had a creature race in a previous game, and then you restarted without the creature race.
Guest Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 New version uploaded. (fixed) Fixed a problem on the races set as exclusive (fixed) Fixed a small problem while loading a game where a previous creature race was no more available (new) Added a warning in case PapyrusUtil version is too old (improved) No more message boxes in case SexLab is not fully installed. Of course, the mod will not work, and you will see an explicit message only when opening the MCM (improved) If the mod was in an active state during a save game, it will restart after it is fully initialized
HeartsTM Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 I installed this to try it with Enderal but it says I don't have SkyUI even though Enderal comes with SkyUI. Trying to figure out a workaround but I thought I'd point it out to you.
Guest Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 Enderal has not a real SkyUI, is a re-implementation. So I cannot really check if SkyUI is good or not. But at this point, I care very little about the SkyUI problems, so in the next version, I will remove the blocking showstopper of SkyUI. If it does not work I will not really care.
Roxasvent13 Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 Great work! It's really an amazing mod. I guess mods like Random Attack, SexLife and etc won't be needed any more. Here are some suggestions: 1. An option that will show every step ssx is doing on screen when it is checked, So we can see if the mod is working and what's going on, easy for testing. 2. Dialogs and scripts ( and maybe everyting? =P ) can translated in a simple file just like the translation file. 3. Custom Dialogs can be added and used in ssx. Sorry for my bad english and many thanks for your great work. 1. I like it, consider it done (Actually I use it for debugging purposes, so I have no problem in giving this feature to everybody) 2. Dialogues are not possible. You need to edit them using CK or TES5Edit, but because of all possible combinations, you need to change 75 dialogues for each line today. Scripts and MCM already have translation files where everything can be translated. 3. Sorry but this is not possible. P.S. You English is good. I understood everything. I found 2 xml file under dialogueviews directory, I thought you figured out how to add or custom dialogues without editing esp.... -0- Sorry my bad. Have you tried Apropos? http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/818-apropos/ It's more scripted narration than interactive dialogue but maybe what you are looking for. The mod has instructions for writing your own lines. Edit: gooser has a request thread for Apropos here: http://www.loverslab.com/topic/28360-apropos-feature-request-and-descriptions-submission/ This is interesting. This is not the type of dialogues editing I meant, it's more like a description to simulate dialogues, but it's maybe the only way to make it ( Editing dialogues without modifing the esp file ) happen for now..... Thank you very much! If you're just looking for flavour dialogue during the scenes, there's a mod called SexLab Subtitles. Editing dialogue is as easy as editing the json files via notepad and import them via MCM. Then they just play out randomly, or in order while characters are going at it. It's developed by a Japanese developer but it has a rough English translation with the install. The developer has a blog running but looks like it's been put behind an invite wall, only place I was able to find it was here. I downloaded it and it is the most recent version which I can confirm runs with SexLab 1.62. I would guess this person meant adding dialog to the ask the player/npc for sex, and the ending phrase text, not adding txt during sex. I would like to know how to edit that myself in the easiest way possible.
lunov Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 CPU, thanks for the new version 1.4c which is working in wide ranges. One thing I observe since the beginning of 1.4 (and I don't know if it can be so easily changed...) I check the Mod with 2 characters, 1 female and 1 male. Most of the rules can be defined that way that they match both genders. But some will always be gender specific. Now the problem: I installed and "constructed" ssx with a male PC, set definitions and rules, checked them ingame, works almost fine. Then changing to the female PC, I have to rearrange definitions and rules (thus far ok), With this new set checked ingame the remaining and new rules I got the result of a working scheme... Going back to the male pc i found that the female set has been taken to initialize ssx from bottom to top, for example the male set had one general and simple rule for male solo, the female set contained 2 "specialized" rules by tag resp. specific animation (for females only). My male set is now containing the 2 female rules, the male rule vanished. In all changes ssx was starting very slow, for it seems to have the wrong gender base from the initialization, after I renewed each definition manually, the system started quite normal. It seems that the initialization process should be reviewed (f.e. set should only be loaded from scratch when no rules or definitions have been set yet, further rules can be imported when exported earlier..)

Once you defined your rules for a gender, then export the whole set. Then do the same for the other gender. So when you switch the player, then you can re-load the whole set of rules. Some options like "sexuality" are global, so you may need to manually update them.
lunov Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 CPU, Thank you for your quickanswer. I did well understand the need of a import export function. But do I understand that right that each time i change between a female and a male PC game I have repeatedly to import the rules completely? I thought once a set of rules is loaded in a save file, they are in, and can actualized via the import function. That irritates me just a little bit...
Guest Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 The rules are not in the save file. They are saved externally. If you use MO, and have two different profiles for male and female, then it is automatic. If not, then you have to do it manually. And I am not going to change this.
alienfaction Posted January 3, 2017 Posted January 3, 2017 errgg ... just notice my papyrus log didn't attach ... Hopefully worked this time. Yup Papyrus.0.log

Ok, found the config... as JContainer File. I did not mean you to change this. As I do not use MO, I want to find an easy solution for this myself. But you can give me a hint: Where do you define the name fo the config file? In a global var, in the esp, in a script etc. Would make it easier for to continue.... I assure you this will be a private solution (if there is one) and I will show you the result (if there is one). Base idea: Have a <ConfigM> and a <ConfigF> configuration file and decide in initalization phase or in a second esp (where an NMM can help too) which one to choose. If you declare this in a script file, it will no be that "easy"....

EniracY Posted January 3, 2017 Posted January 3, 2017 Thanks for the updates I saw this mod, Flower Girls for Skyrim pop up on the Nexus and I wondered if I could essentially make a rule so NPCs would solicit prostitutes in-game using factions. The mod in question: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/81241/ To try it out I used the bard faction and went to The Winking Skeever with Lisette as the bard, but nothing happened. What did I do wrong? Bards as Flowers.json Scent of Sex Config.json
Guest Posted January 3, 2017 Posted January 3, 2017 ... Factions should work just fine. Just set the Faction as way to find the Source or target. Of course I will check your rule later.
endersgame Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 Really liking the mod - it does so many things that I was able to make a lot of new room in my load order. =) Two questions: 1 - is there a way to do custom/player-entered dialogues? 2 - is there a way to implement a "pimp" rule for followers - e.g. player ask npc for sex, then npc have sex with a follower?

Only using CK. 2. Yes, just set the player as Source or Target, then set Ask for sex, and set the player also as "Not participating", the "Follower" should be set as collaborator.

Yeah I used the faction system, using the Bard faction but Lisette wasn't even targeted so I'm thinking I've gone wrong somewhere ...
Guest Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 Yeah I used the faction system, using the Bard faction but Lisette wasn't even targeted so I'm thinking I've gone wrong somewhere ... Bards are slightly problematic. If they are active in singing they do not really work. I can made them work in the next version, by removing them from the Bard faction. Check Linette with the included Actors Editor, and check her factions, just in case.
Moonpaw Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 i made a simple rule, basically human npc on human npc (excluding player) and when the rule played that guy was trying to screw a dog. Was kinda awkward. Also all the rules i deleted keep reappearing every time scent of sex starts

One in the mod folder and one in the overwrite folder. Just delete both of them.

I do think its not possible but could you find a way to set rule names yourself in-game? I dont know the limitations of the framework of skyrim (like showing a text input ´dialog). Im aware its probably possible to manually set the names by editing the configs and such with a text editor
