Help to chose avatar

Hi folks....

I have a wood elf character that my father use to play a lot when playing Skyrim. I also play with him a lot and sometimes, but rarely as male redguard.

Now, since I like this wood elf very much, I created two avatars from that character but can't decide which one to choose. Please, help me with your suggestions. Thank you very much.

(I wanted to use poll, but it doesn't work for some reason as well file attaching). Anyhow here are the avatars.

Avatar 1

The avatar is for forums?

If so I believe Avatar 1 is much better, not because its smaller but because it looks directly to your post :P

Thanks Arhon and PillowFun.

lol ... thank you Benmc20.

it looks like we have a winner (for now) - Avatar 1, but will wait for 2-3 more opinions and then will replace my current avatar with the new one.

Yes good choice having a male in profile or near profile is always a better choice than face on. It is also nice that it is looking towards the post... However what do I know I am an alien :)

lol - thank you ritual. You know a lot although being an alien. ;)

Yeah great choice, I thought Avatar 2 looked like a bad passport photo :D

- Hahahaha - well I tried several locations and weather conditions but couldn't get the "right" one. :) Also, I'm not so good in taking screenshots and post editing. Well, that one of my 100000X flaws :)

Gives some of the ideas.. your elf is aloof and superior so he has a side profile. If a face profile the chin should be down and shoulders forward etc. Makes the chin and jaw look more manly and helps the shoulders look broader.

The second one was a bad passport photo. In passport photos they don't want you to angle or change the view as they want the face "pure" or direct. It looks horrible on men. Not as bad on women.

Now you can practice.. :) Take a few good photos and post them here for us to see. :) The key is to also ask what do you think the character of the photo shows. ;).

My advice, keep your actual avatar, far more better IMO.

I'm assuming the first one is pretty much the original, which I like. He looks like a true Wood Elf.

Second, no to warpaint... its just messy.

Third and Forth, well if your trying to look like your old Avatar with a bit of LOTR Legolas, definitely lose the facial hair.

Fifth, you got bored
