Mercenary666 Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 Well they did it again. I guess the Bethesda Boyz had such a good laugh when they released ver 1.5.307 catching the Silverlock team with their pants down, that they decided to do it again just a few minutes ago. Looks like I'll be playing Dying Light again tonight.
Guest Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 Can I ask what is the matter? F4SE again not compatible? This is normal for each new game release. Nothing to be astonished. Or the problem you mention (without specifying it) is more serious? Thank you for a clarification.
Spyder Arachnid Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 Eh, it happens. All part of modding an actively updated game. If you want to go mod crazy, you gotta deal with updates breaking stuff. Just how it is. Nothing new. Bethesda isn't doing it out of spite, it's just how things are done.

My comment was only meant to be very slightly humorous and even less sarcastic. From your comment it looks like it fell short of the intended mark. You can delete /lock the thread if you like.
Guest Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 Nah. Your post was not bad. Just difficult to understand. Cheers.
DigitalP Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 What mods require F4SE to begin with?I've yet come across one that needs it and I've got gigs of mods.
Halstrom Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 Yet another "They fixed things!" whine.............

Not quite. 1.5.412 was the beta. The live update is 1.5.416. So not even the beta F4SE would work with the new update. Basically, the game updated past the beta version. So a completely new F4SE was required. Same thing that happened last patch. The game updated past the beta version, making both versions of F4SE obsolete.
Spyder Arachnid Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 What mods require F4SE to begin with? I've yet come across one that needs it and I've got gigs of mods. How do you have Gigs of mods, and have not come across any F4SE mods yet? The F4SE mods are some of the most popular ones. I mean, for starters, LooksMenu. And then of course the LooksMenu Customization Compendium that goes with that (the LMCC is not an F4SE mod, but one of the best mods out there that compliments LooksMenu). LooksMenu gives you a better creation interface along with saving presets. And then Achievements. You know, because the regular game disables your achievements if you use ANY mods. That giant "M" on your save? Yeah that means modded. Meaning no more achievements for you. Achievements removes that restriction so you can earn achievements again. And the final must have mod for any settlement builder, Place Everywhere. This allows you to place anything anywhere you want. No more red restriction trying to place anything.
