Ugh Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 Problem is exactly how it sounds; any attempt to mess with the RaceMenu Morphs ingame results in a CTD. Does not appear to be an issue with the XP32 skeleton; all signs in the MCM menu point to it being installed correctly, and the HDT stuff doesn't appear to be wonky in any way. Using Gamefever's vanilla UUNP conversions with the TC mesh fixes, which for some reason don't show up in game unless I enable the PSVAC armors (which appear to get overwritten with the Bodyslide files). Otherwise, all options that come with UUNP Bodyslide files have done so. Guest Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 You say: I am using XP32. Do you mean: I am using XPMSE ? If not please try to install XPMSE.
Guest Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 Can I ask what is the race of your character? What mod adds it, if any?
Ugh Posted June 21, 2016 Author Posted June 21, 2016 Just vanilla; tried it with Nord and Breton races. As far as I know, I've got nothing installed that touches the vanilla races.
Guest Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 You already posted your Load Order, and that is good. Can you explain the exact moment you get the CTD? Also: what is in your bashed patch?
Ugh Posted June 21, 2016 Author Posted June 21, 2016 The CTD occurs when I attempt to touch any of the settings in the UUNP Morphs section of character creation. Default settings when creating the Bodyslide files were Zeroed Sliders. I think I had a prebuilt UUNP HDT body installed last time I updated Bodyslide; dunno if that might be causing issues. Bashed Patch includes Traps Make Noise, Mighty Beasts-Werewolves, and the Leveled Lists from Weapon And Armor Fixes Remade; only settings I tweaked were to Crime: Alarm Distance.
Guest Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 OK, so are you using or not a UUNP body for your character? If not just avoid the sliders. And what is in the bash patch does not look problematic.
Ugh Posted June 21, 2016 Author Posted June 21, 2016 It's the prebuilt UUNP body that's included in the Bodyslide installer as an option. I figure if I can't figure out what's causing the sliders to crash, I'll just set Bodyslide settings to UNP or something.
Zebot Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 Now thats wierd since i also dont see any problem.... I also use zeroed sliders and dont have any problems, i think you should try to re-install bodyslide or even download it again since some of these problems are because of some corrput file or bad installment.
Tefajo Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 Can you try using Racemenu precache killer and see what happens? http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/33526/?
ousnius Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 Can you try using Racemenu precache killer and see what happens? http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/33526/? Not needed anymore, already built into RaceMenu itself.
Guest Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 Not needed anymore, already built into RaceMenu itself. Correct. But of course you need a recent (OK, not so recent, but still) version of RaceMenu to have it.
zzz72w3r Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 This might be stupid but when you built the UUNP body did you check the Racemenu Morph box at the lower left corner in Bodyslide?
Ugh Posted June 21, 2016 Author Posted June 21, 2016 Yup, Racemenu Morph's checked off, and it's the latest version of Racemenu installed, so I already have the precache killer. Uninstalling and reinstalling Bodyslide didn't change a thing. My guess it that it has something to do with Gamefever's vanilla armor conversions, since a lot of people have reported problems with them.

Ugh Posted July 7, 2016 Author Posted July 7, 2016 Hey, so this was ages ago, but I did figure out a way to stop the crashes. I was using Crash Fixes option to use regular C malloc instead of the memory blocks. Per Crash Fixes common issues section: UseOSAllocators=1 and crashing when touching sliders in character creation or otherwise.Set AlignHeapAllocate=1 in CrashFixPlugin.ini, downside is increased load time and increased memory usage. Just figured I'd drop the solution here if anyone else had this problem.

LavaCreeper Posted August 30, 2017 Posted August 30, 2017 Wow. I wasn't expecting it to work, but it did. Using AlignHeapAllocate=1 fixes all scaling related CTDs. Thank you.

Old post but THANK YOU. Never would've figured that crash fix would affect sliders, just performance :D

Add me to the list, was pulling my hair out trying to track down what was causing CTD anytime anything touched bodymorphs. Thanks for sharing
