bjornk Posted June 1, 2016 Posted June 1, 2016 I don't know if it's always been the case, but I've just noticed that the time stamp on quoted messages are different than the time the message was posted. It may have something to do with DST, or something else on my side. Could anyone else confirm this by quoting the following text in their message and compare the time on the quoted message with the time of this message? QUOTATION TEST QUOTATION TEST This is what I get on my side Original message: 04:04 PM Quoted message: 06:03 PM (<- Needs to be 04:04 PM) Perhaps there's a time/DST difference between the database server and the web server?

bjornk Posted June 1, 2016 Author Posted June 1, 2016 that one matched what the original said to meOriginal: 04:47 PM Quoted: 6:47 PM Weird. Is DST enabled in your forum settings? Edit: Nope, turning off DST doesn't make any difference.

bjornk Posted June 1, 2016 Author Posted June 1, 2016 Same as mine. The time (including your current adjustment) is: 01 June 2016 - 05:00 PM Perhaps it's because CloudFlare. I'm sure we're accessing LL through different CloudFlare IPs, although I can't imagine why it would have any relevance for the timestamps.
bjornk Posted June 1, 2016 Author Posted June 1, 2016 Same as mine. ...blah... Looks OK to me. Nope. Mine has two hours difference.
Guest Posted June 1, 2016 Posted June 1, 2016 Not sure. I think is the time shown on the title. This one is calculated by your browser (local time zone) using the server date. For me it looks like correctly calculated. Try another browser, if you don't mind.

For me it looks like correctly calculated. The time in quotations (time stamp of the message) is the wrong one. The other one, which you set in forum settings and presumably calculated by the browser is correct. I'll try to log out and log back in at a later time. Could it be a problem related to cookies?
bjornk Posted June 1, 2016 Author Posted June 1, 2016 Logged out, cleared cookies, logged back in, it's still the same.

spoonsinger Posted June 1, 2016 Posted June 1, 2016 Logged out, cleared cookies, logged back in, it's still the same. TEST Well that's sort of 5.54 British Summer Time, (but I'm late to post). Which is ok, (although I think GMT would be more patriotic. Sod the school children and their farming fathers).
Ark of Truth Posted June 1, 2016 Posted June 1, 2016 Screenshot of the problem? I only ask because I couldn't reproduce the bug either.
bjornk Posted June 1, 2016 Author Posted June 1, 2016 Never mind, it's not that important. The problem is obviously on my side.
