Jerbsinator Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 I don't understand why I am getting a neck seam on my character. I am using Atomic body (CBBE compatible), CBBE body texture and Valkyr face textures (also CBBE compatible) and I get a horrible neck seam. I have no idea why. I know in Skyrim Texblend solved this issue but that doesn't exist yet. Here's what I mean: EDIT: Mods remove this thread. I guess this is unsolvable until GECK, I just happen to be one of the unlucky ones. Oh well.
QuiteTheTail Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 Let me get this right: the problem only manifests itself because of the textures used? I think this kind of gap is more related to geometry (head and body meshes not matching at the boundary vertices). I'm not familiar with Fallout games and the tools used for editing meshes, but I hope this would help.
ousnius Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 (already posted in the other thread) The CK has nothing to do with neck seams, nude bodies or outfits. There is zero benefit from it for them. The problem in this case is Atomic Beauty. One of the sliders must be moving the neck which causes a seam. You should let themilkdrinker know of that.
Jerbsinator Posted May 28, 2016 Author Posted May 28, 2016 So the body itself is the problem, it has a bad seam even at default bodyslide settings. Either that or the Bethesda face mesh sucks, which could also be a possibility I suppose....I mean it is Bethesda....Hopefully this gets fixed sooner rather than later.
