Have all sort of mods without problem. However, past an unknown amount of in game time (not sure how long), it will starts to CTD randomly. Could it be some data use up memory after sometime? At first I suspected it has something to do with dragon because it only happen after a long time playing, then I purposely avoided starting any dragon quest but it happens anyway.

The second time, it was the was immersive wenches plus hateful wenches. In both cases, I'd make to around level 15-20 and end up with a game that would no longer load. So something similar may be your problem, or it may be something entirely different.

The game would then crash, and nothing would get the game to load again. And loading the previous save would result in crashing at every attempt to save, even after using the load, load again trick.
D_ManXX2 Posted May 15, 2016 Posted May 15, 2016 I think that is called script overload. if the game crashes when you are trying to save there is too much active scripts running resulting in an crash. it could coincidle when you reach certain levels then the crash occur. maybe you have too much spawns going on and resulting in this error.

I believe that is the case as well. The problem is to find out which mod is causing it. I don't have any huge NPC spawns going on in my game.

I could go back to the very first save of the install, which had no mods at all, or I could go back to the first save made after creating the character. The problem save still refused to load. This problem ceased entirely once I uninstalled immersive wenches and hateful wenches and started a new game.

Well, What you have described is a really common experience for modders. As we develop our knowledge of modding we tend to share this experience but this is really due to our inexperience with best practices and our lack of knowledge when we start with the tools used for making the mods. So it goes like this. When you start a new game with a load of mods under the hood. A good deal of the mods have not yet taken full hold of your game yet as quite a few are designed to kick off gradually and at certain points rather than always run in the background ( not saying there are not loads of these).... Just that as you get around the world the toll of the mods you have selected will begin to start straining your game to full effect.... So unfortunately this means that until you have invested quite a bit of time into your game you wont really know if the whole thing will implode on you till your more hours in than you'd like to be. Of course when you get experienced and begin to explore the creation side of modding you start to develop a sense of what to not get caught up in..... This of course can lead to avoiding mods that may be popular cause you want to avoid the pain of having your game implode later. I've got to say though, Don't be disappointed about not being able to use that Immer Wench series...not really well balanced your not missing much...doesn't work real well with quite a few sexlab mods either.

Immer Wench series is not installed. Is there just no good way to effectively find out which mod is causing CTDs? It would be pointless to test each mod one by one.

You have quite a few files I've never seen or used so I don't know. I marked some that I just wont use and I know have an effect on your stability. Have I recommended Crash Fixes to you? "Crash Fixes" on Nexus it seems to work. Thanks, will try. Update... I have removed those mods you mentioned other than WearableLantern. Also installed Crash Fixes from Nexus. Happy to report no crashes so far. Usually the CTD would happen randomly and frequently within an hour. I have been playing whole night and morning without any issue now. Thanks again.

Aensland_src Posted May 15, 2016 Posted May 15, 2016 I just notice this patern. The game is very smooth and stable everytime I start a new game or load an early save. Have all sort of mods without problem. However, past an unknown amount of in game time (not sure how long), it will starts to CTD randomly. Could it be some data use up memory after sometime? At first I suspected it has something to do with dragon because it only happen after a long time playing, then I purposely avoided starting any dragon quest but it happens anyway. Well, What you have described is a really common experience for modders. As we develop our knowledge of modding we tend to share this experience but this is really due to our inexperience with best practices and our lack of knowledge when we start with the tools used for making the mods. So it goes like this. When you start a new game with a load of mods under the hood. A good deal of the mods have not yet taken full hold of your game yet as quite a few are designed to kick off gradually and at certain points rather than always run in the background ( not saying there are not loads of these).... Just that as you get around the world the toll of the mods you have selected will begin to start straining your game to full effect.... So unfortunately this means that until you have invested quite a bit of time into your game you wont really know if the whole thing will implode on you till your more hours in than you'd like to be. Of course when you get experienced and begin to explore the creation side of modding you start to develop a sense of what to not get caught up in..... This of course can lead to avoiding mods that may be popular cause you want to avoid the pain of having your game implode later. I've got to say though, Don't be disappointed about not being able to use that Immer Wench series...not really well balanced your not missing much...doesn't work real well with quite a few sexlab mods either. Can you, or someone tell what is wrong with immersive wenches?? D:?? I been using the mod for a long time and never notices any issues with it ... does it cause save bloat ??
