Skyrim CTD on newgame, loadgame.

No matter what I do, including freshly installing skyrim and all the mods the entire game refuses to work.

 

 

the extent of information I know how to provide is my load order, if you can help but need other data than i need to know how to get it for you.

If you CDT on a new game, then probably one of the mod is missing a reference (probably to a master.)

 

Are you using a mod manager? Mod Organizer will show you directly if something is missing.

If not, you can try to open all your active mods using TES5Edit, it will tell you if something is missing.

I have Nexus Mod Manager, It turns files red if something is missing that they require. Besides, if I have a mising master file the game CTDs on the main scrreen as I launch it, not when I try to load or start a new game.

Then probably is a missing master in the save game.

Each save game stores the mods it requires.

 

But to check a save game I only know Mod Organizer.

Then how is it causing me a problem when I try to start a new game?

Handling a mod list from a screenshot is a pain. If you have it a text file it will be better.

I don't use it, so I don't know.

Once i had a problem that my game was crashing in 9/10 times when loading or starting a new game caused by a conflict between loadorder and install order. MO can fix that, but i don't know about NMM either.
