tengma Posted April 25, 2016 Posted April 25, 2016 I just downloaded the HDT Piercing set mod (updated version at http://www.loverslab.com/topic/40622-cbbe-hdt-piercing-sets/page-3) It fixed the problem of misplacement of nipple rings..but there are still some Nipple rings have clipping and air floating issues. (the physics is working fine though) I tried to fix it using bodyslide by loading reference to it.... I know it can be done by using bodyslide because after some fail attempts I successfully fixed one of the nipple rings. but I can't remember what exactly I did. I can't replicate my success... .the model looks fine when I load project...slightly off at preview...but floating in game. do anyone know what should I do.
myuhinny Posted April 25, 2016 Posted April 25, 2016 Do the start new project then adjust them to where they need to be select the nipple ring then click bone tab select the nodes required and use shape copy selected weights or shape copy bone weights to re add the bones which will also redo the weighting for them. Then select one of the export options export with reference will export the nipple rings along with the body you used while doing the nipple rings the other one only exports the nipple rings only. **Note** for them to match in game I believe most nipple rings have no bodies in them so for them to match up in game you would have to use your actual bodies that you use in game as your template bodies when adjusting them because the body you are using that you loaded into the nipple rings might not be the same size as the body you are using in game and when you wear something like nipple rings they will use your players body instead when you put them on. To use your player bodies make a copy of them and place them in a folder then make copies of the nipple rings and place them with the body in your bodslide folder next use the new project select whatever HDT body you are using then hit the browse and go to the body folder and select the body then next select the nipple right now your player body will be in the folder adjust the nipple rings. Once they are where they need to be you might have to re add the bone nodes and weighting so that the get weighted correctly then hit export.

(I don't remember doing any exporting in my successful attempt. the original mod allows you to bulid nipple rings using bodyslide, it already have a xml and shapedata, and as long as you are using the same preset to build your CBBE HDT body mesh, they will fit (except for some, which I am trying to fix)...so what is the difference between using the template and using the body mesh I created?
myuhinny Posted April 26, 2016 Posted April 26, 2016 If there is a difference between some but not all it might mean that some were converted to one body size while the other ones to a different size and the ones that are bad and that you are adjusting them to a template body but in game when you wear those nipple rings they are going to use your players body mesh which must be a different size as the nipple rings are floating. (Meaning your template body is bigger then your body mesh so when you wear them your going to have floating) If you use copies of your players body then in game there shouldn't be any floating nipple rings as they were adjusted to your players body.

Except for the SED7 nipple rings which after you created them they are floating. I am trying to fix this problem and reupload a hotfix so as long as you created your player's CBBE HDT bodymesh and nipple rings using same preset on bodyslide you there will not be clipping....if I used my own player body mesh to fix it and someone create a body using different preset will it still work? and also what should I do after I export the nif?......sorry I am really noob
myuhinny Posted April 26, 2016 Posted April 26, 2016 The ones that have floating nipple rings get a copy of your template body. Load your template body into outfit studio by loading outfit studio clicking file - new project - select HDT body type or whichever one you want - then click browse just below it and pick your template body - then next and select your nipple ring make sure to pick ones with matching size _0 and _0 or _1 and _1. Once loaded move in closer click the nipple rings and go to shape - move shape. Here you will have 3 sliders top one move items left and right middle one moves them forward and backwards and bottom one moves them up and down. Use the sliders to adjust the nipple rings to the correct spot. When you are ready you can save if you want or you can export. If a outfit isn't suppose to have a body in it you use the export nif option under file - export and it will export just the outfit. If the outfit is suppose to have a body in it then you use the export with reference which will export both the outfit and the body you used so you will have a matching body and outfit. The exported nif can be used to replace the bad versions of the nifs by overwriting them.

I just did what you said and it fixed...half of the problem...the biggest body size is at right place but I don't think it generated _0.nif so now but the smallest is still floating..when you say "replace nif" do you mean replace the nif do you mean the nif in Data\CalienteTools\BodySlide\ShapeData\Skeuomorph\Piercings\SED7\(the ring I am trying to fix) ? cause the mod did not have anything in data/Meshes folder except for world model (GO) mesh.. the user of mod suppose to generate those using bodyslide... here is what I did...could you tell me what I did wrong... I choosed CBBE HDT body, which is what I am using... then I load the nif I am trying to fix.which is Data/CalienteTools\BodySlide\ShapeData\Skeuomorph\Piercings\SED7\SED7_CBBE3_fGNP_diamond\SED7_CBBE3_fGNP_diamond.nif the models on bodyslider preview appears fine...all sliders are working so I clicked all the bones I needed and copyed them..then clicked comfirm and then exported it without reference and overwrite the nif I was changing the sliders works fine at bodysliders...but in the game nipple rings does not change with body size slider so only the biggest bodysize works.... I checked again I just realize all of the floating nipple rings are this way. .not just the one I am trying to fix....so I think I didn't fixed anything...and problem seems to be the body silder fail to create correct _0 file for those rings.....the ring only works for biggest bodysize and not changing with body size slider within the game...(which is weird because it works fine in preview of bodyslide) do you know what could cause it and I can do to fix it.?
myuhinny Posted April 26, 2016 Posted April 26, 2016 Your welcome. It could be they are only made for one size I have seen some mods like that where there is only one body size. You could try starting new project select CBBE HDT then load the nipple ring. Adjust the nipple rings to where they need to be and go to slider - conform all wait for a bit the more stuff in the nif the longer it will take once everything is done conforming start adjusting the sliders and the nipple rings will adjust along with the breasts. If this way doesn't work and the nipple rings move back to their starting point when you use conform all can't remember if they do or not. You will instead have to do the above but instead of conforming go to file - export - export with reference so that you export the nipple rings along with the body. Then select new project - CBBE HDT and select the nif you just exported. Click the starship enterprise/eye icon next to the newly added CBBE body (the green one) this will make it invisible. Next go to slider - and again select conform all. Now adjust the breast slider to where you want them at once it looks good export only since you don't need that other body added to the nif.

I really appreciate your detailed answers. I did what you said and it did not fix it..... I load both _0 and _1in nifskope and they looks like what they should look like...after some further investigation I found out the cause of problem is in .esp file..there is nothing wrong with the meshes I was trying to fix... I fixed the problem by by editing a single configuration in esp using creation kit...now I feel like an idiot for spending hours trying to edit something that don't have anything wrong ...
