I see some weird null pointers for HSH in that log, but nothing that points to slaves not kneeling or dancing. Do the slaves work otherwise, i.e. follow you when ordered, etc.?

 

They seem to work normally. Train, follow, the new option to have sex with others....Just no kneeling submissive greeting, no dancing.

I have also tried various combinations of these except for Questline is optional.

I have also notice some weirdness in the MCM menu-the submissive greeting sometimes overlaps use designated locations.

 

Also notice I lost the chest for one cell. It still considers it an active area though. No way to turn it off. And it has one wall marker showing red.

 

 

Can you run your game in a slave location for a bit and post the log please?
 


is there a certain mine you have to go to to win back there favor after you get the quest from the girl with the sister i took the sister as a slave but when i go back to the mine i only get the option to give them another bandit nothing about forgiveness so when i go to the restless hunter it wont progress because they dont trust me

 

What does the quest log say?

 

If I remember correctly, the guard at any of the 3 camps will do. The dialogue starts off a bit weird, like "Hey there" or some such. What dialogue does the guard offer?
 

 

 

The debugger log? Where is that located? Or the Papyrus log?

 

 

 

 

Here is the Papyrus log after running in a slave cell for about 10 minutes.

I noticed when I hover over the de-bugger log option it says at the bottom the note about the BDSM furniture replacement. Several items do that.

had to truncate that, anything loaded after is no good, not even halfway thru the log

 

fix the above issues and post the updated lof if you still have trouble

not going to guarantee that save salvagable

What is the best way to fix these problems? Have used the simple functions on PDT, but nothing difficult.Or uninstall-reinstall mods such as SOS?

Sorry to be such a pain. I really appreciate the help though!!

the first thing you need to do is determine whether its isolated issue to the save - there were several lines that indicate a bad slave so starting over may fix it

 

if that fixes it should only need to click "remove loose scripts" from pdt, but some of those mods may need to be reinstalled

 

if however it still don't work on a new game then you know that those mods can't be reinstall, they need to be uninstalled - start at the top, you don't always need to remove them all to get it working if there's some in there you're dying to have

its like a domino effect when 1 mod is broken it hurts another mod that was sensitive already so that mod then breaks another mod and starts a chain reaction until nothing works

 

that and above all make a list to the side( a list of mods you're removing and retesting) as until you get working results you're just cleaning up skyrim and retesting to see if that fixes your issue

 

oh and I doubt your issue is an sos issue unless you just need to reinstall sos or you need to fix those other mods first then reinstall sos - sos is too popular or widely used

not really, that's data from the master files - pahe...

we're upto 50 slaves in pahe and when I get time to test it there's already a patch waiting for 100 slaves

once that works with pahe it should carry over to home sweet home and most likely it'll be merged into pahe when that time comes rather than tested separately

HSH stores slaves separately from PAHE so the More Slaves patch has no effect. The maximum in HSH is always 50, plus 14 in the Restless Hunter.

 

I may increase this limit in the future. At the moment HSH assigns each slave a fixed slot, but I am experimenting with a system that dynamically assigns slots as needed, so the nr. of slaves could be unlimited (with max 50 being active in any one room, any surplus would just be standing around). It already works like this in And You Get A Slave, but there's still some issues to work out.

Since patching, my slaves set as trainers seem to value sitting on a chair higher than training their assigned slaves. Everything else works, if I tell them manually to punish/store their slave, they do it. After that, they go back to a chair. Until they get up to move to another chair.

 

Also, a suggestion: 

Would it be possible to add more options to the sex-dialog with house slaves? Similar to that one mod that adds the "Excuse me, handsome" dialog option. The one that gives you the choice between ~10 different positions, split in active and passive.

I noticed that I was getting save game bloat and a huge log.  (Which I forgot to send.)

 

So I went back to a savegame prior to the bloating and the problem did not manifest this time.  I did not have an additional slaves train each other, which was (I think) what started the problem.  If it comes up again, I will send logs and more boring stuff.

 

 

And I forgot to say:  I love your work!

Do you still have the problematic save? If so, could you spin up that game and send me the log from that please? We :heart: save bloat in combination with huge log files, because it usually tells us exactly what is causing it.

 

Sorry!  I will remember next time.  Thanks to you and the other mega-posters for your quick support even though I messed up.  I just got back from a trip so I would have thanked you guys earlier had I been able.

here what i noticed after playing around with it.

 

1. needs 2 differnt types of house markers. one is for player bought houses and other is for any interior. the cage is freaking huge to put down and if u already decorated teh home

    aka  breeze home there no where to put it effectively. probaly best to just have where player home markers only supply the marker chest

2. add a check if the slave is following u or in pahe sandbox.wait. from what i was able to telll if u have a slave follow u and just telll them to join the HSH mod when they bug and

    be untalkablle for a bit they will run to follow. i noticed if u have them join HSH when they in sandbox they dont run to follow and also seem to recover from the bug faster.

3.outdoor camps.  for them onlly 2 improvments i think of would be nice. one is a marker to tell how big the area is and some way of it leveling off ontop of the ground.

on the camps the temp camps can stay the same but to be honest i think the permant camps should be made useing campfire mod. u could either have 3 differnt camps from small to large and useing tthe campfire mod have them be a whole set up camp with every item and a cage wall around the camp.

probaly changeing the guard mechanic for normall followers to where u ask them mto guard the camp for specific ammount of time.

 

also i encounted a weird issue where i can put markers for breeze home unless i pay the 1k gold for the cage. ima look at it more as i found that the scrolls seem to bug and u have to drop them then pick up to get them to work sometimes. they may be the way to fix it ill try when i play next. sorry no log as was just doing random stuff so didnt have on.

its been a while since I've tested this. we had addons to buy from the restless hunter that would apply directly to the vanilla skyrim homes back then so I can't say if that's changed since then - back when I tested it there was no need to tell a slave to wait

 

if that's something new you'll need to wait for help from musje or post the log

well the wait thing is simply cause the bug with the dailogue causeing them to temp revert back to the pahe follow for a bit. once he figures out how to fix the issue where they become unresponsive that bug be gone. was just stateing i fond by haveing them wait first then add them to HSH makes it more smoother.

that issue didn't exist - the slave didn't attempt to follow the player when I tested it

1: At the moment you can just plonk down the cage, then choose "Remove cage" from the house menu to get rid of it, leaving only the box. But you are right: maybe it's good to have the option when placing the cell. I am thinking not to have 2 different tokens, but to offer a popup choice when using it.

 

2: I will test this and see if it needs to be fixed.

 

3: The leveling part, or aligning items with the floor, is kind of hard. That camping mod does it very nicely but I never figured out how they did it :( Any tips on how to determine the terrain height and normal vector will be greatly appreciated.

What would be the purpose of setting the camp size? To figure out how far the slaves may wander?

Does Campfire have an API for that? I would also like to give more choices for the permacamps, it's on the list but there is some other stuff I want to work on first.

Yeah Breezehome shouldn't require the cell upgrade before you can use the marker.

the campfire mod is a hole api frame work he even provides the info to uses so shouldnt be hard there 2 addons people made for it to add differnt tents and stuff.

should have all the info u need about the campfire mod and its api. well i had planed to build me a tent camp to see if the slaves willl interact with the stuff or use the bedrolls but havent yet. even if u dont do much with the campfire mod the outside the normal game perk system could probaly be used.

 

saw the remove cage but was thinking that would remove everything.

 

on them following after aded to HSH. noww that i think of it the only one follow is the one i set to be trainer and also even thoou i have them set non of them do greetings(might be cause both greetings are set). ill play around with it when i test to see if default campfire stuff can be interacted with by slaved if put in a camp.

I came here looking to see if anyone else had this issue. I was using 0.96 though.

 

I have a few slaves dressed up in some devious devices (DDi and DDx) items and I noticed that if you set one to be a trainer the one to be trained when the trainee is to be trained on one of the Zaz furniture items all the things they are wearing are removed and seem to stay removed until I actually go into their dialogue options myself and take all the items out of their inventory and put it all back into it, but of course it all just comes off again the next time they end up on a piece of furniture. D=

 

I have noticed the same, and been trying to fix this.

Clothes in Skyrim are problematic to say the least. HSH has a system that stores the slaves outfit and restores it if needed, but it doesn't always seem to handle DD items correctly. (DD has a weird way to manage clothing as well, which may conflict with HSH).

 

So it's in progress.

 

from what i've seen of clothing being stripped when the slaves are restrained I'm going to bet that's an issue with zaz, but i haven't experimented with many dd items lately on the slaves, aside from the collars. if you were to narrow it down to a few select dd items, it might be a slot conflict with those devices like some dd items use the same slot as other zaz items. if the slave were put in a yoke it would conflict with a set of cuffs

 

 

The first time I noticed it happening was when the exact moment trainer was given a trainee. The trainee would strip all items to a naked state, they would even remove their SoS Scholng if they had one. :3

I second the request for any interior. Since we can delete the cage and place markers, would work out well.

ok did a test finaly and yes if u put campfire stuff around the slaves will interact with it and also they uses the follower beds thats part of the mod and its addons. only bad thing is that all the beds have 1 of them set to be yours so would need to have some beds that dont have a bed set for you.

Went back to 9.6 version, replaceing my entire Skyrim data folder. The kneeling and dancing now works. I then tried once again to install 9.7. Again had no animations for kneeling or dancing.

I removed that and went back to 9.6 again. Everything works but the MCM menu still thinks its 9.7b. The menu works except it does not list the house slave. It does the locations, but not the slaves. Any idea how to fix the MCM menu?

once you've upgraded its not easy to go back, you'll either need to wait for the next version or uninstall and clean the save

 

a lot of mods written that way - pahe used to hardcode the mcm as well

I'd love to be able to let people add their own slaves to the auction stock, but I don't know how to build this. If it is possible to spawn NPCs from character builder / racemenu presets, so that people can just drop in their files for the mod to pick up, then I'd be happy to add that functionality/

 

I'll see what I can do about the auction time. Perhaps I'll set it to instant start if the user disables the quests in the MCM

I got to say your work is impressive and I thank you for it, though something weird is happening right now. Basically I've got a slave in an indoors house cell token. When I tell her "go to cell" she tries to enter the cell through the cage and not by using the door. in the same way, if I want to tie her up and send her to the bedroom / wall marker, she won't try to go through the door but through the bars. What's the problem? Everything's updated to the latest version.

cage isnt nave meshed cause then u wouldnt be able to place it where ever u want.
