MorePrinniesDood Posted April 21, 2016 Posted April 21, 2016 So I'm working on another player home, a fairly large one based on the Falkreath Jarl's Longhouse. All the blacksmith's essentials and a garden are outside. I've got master bedroom, kids' bedroom, kitchen and dining hall downstairs. Upstairs, I have an armory with mannequins and weapon racks, and a study with books, alchemy lab, and enchanter, and across from it.... a big empty loft and a case of modder's block. What would you put in such a space?
Content Consumer Posted April 21, 2016 Posted April 21, 2016 A trophy room perhaps? I think there are static models of all the creatures in the game in the CK, you could put them on little plinths, sort of like how Hearthfire does it. More mannequins and weapon racks? I sometimes like to put all of the unique items in the game on display, and that generally requires a lot of racks and mannequins. Or more bookshelves... I don't know how many you have, but I like to collect copies of every skill book and every spell tome I can find. An indoor garden room? Not for planted ingredients, necessarily, just pretty plants. A nice place to go and relax. An upstairs bathing area? That will undoubtedly leak straight down into the bedchamber below...
PervyPotter Posted April 21, 2016 Posted April 21, 2016 Follower quarters maybe? a lot of large (sometimes huge) player home mods seem to throw everything in the house and forget about followers, huge castles with only beds for a couple of followers even though the building has room for an army.
JRCosta Posted April 21, 2016 Posted April 21, 2016 Follower quarters is a nice idea. Lots of players like to leave a follower living in each player home (like a housecarl).
