Has anyone figured out how to edit the footsteps sounds ?

Depending on the surface you walk ? I just can't find anything on both CK and Fo4

I tried to look if it's not material related, but nothing there either. It's just so weird

For Skyrim look at the "Heels Sound" download, there are some instructions for TESVedit that might give hints.

I tried this a while back, had some trouble getting it to work. I didn't try very long, though, and I probably just missed something simple and obvious.

I suck a bit with FO4Edit, I found some footstep files but nothing about surfaces, still looking though. I'll post a message if I ever find out, if that can help anyone else

if you look for sounds did you try Sounds.ba2 Sound>Fx>FST>Player? i dont know if its this what you mean.
