Alternate bodies missing?

Hi everyone,

 

I created a new account since my old one was linked to Facebook, and that was closed. Anyway...

 

I restarted working on Oblivion with lovers. This time, I want to use Robert's female body, because it seems more lore-friendly and it doesn't have weird nipples like HGEC. Since I'm not interested in custom armors and stuff this time, I won't be having much troubles on that part.

 

ANYWAY! I read this in the readme of Lovers:

 

By default the male body is designed to match up to the muscular version of Roberts male body v5.2

By default the female body is designed to match up to HGEC Hcup.

 

Alternate bodies are available via the alternate bodies download pack.  Please only install one male and one female.

 

I would like to know where is this "Alternate bodies download pack", since I can't find it anywhere, and I worry that I'm going to have clipping issue with Robert female. Or even better: do I need it? Robert cup are D I think, so there shouldn't be any clipping.

It seems that setbody gives my PC another skin above my original one and...

 

EDIT: I've encountered another problem: it seems that the Futanari Lower Body is conflicting with Robert's Female as you can see from the screenshot.

 

Almost forgot: I'm using ANB for Robert's female, which gives the bouncing effect and enlarge the chest a little, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't change anything on the lower part.

 

Any suggestion?

LAPF use HGEC bodies !!!

And the Roberts female in SetBody reloaded is a conversion: Roberts female with HGEC texture. You need HGEC textures.

And you must add a Roberts female futa body in the free LAPF folders ( default there are only some HGEC and DMRA futa Lowerbodies )

Folders meshes\clothes\ass\1 to 9   ( ? think 1 to 7 are used, you must add a new folder 8 and add the Roberts body with dick. Or you replace the default body in meshe\clothes\ass )

 

In Set Body Lovers joystick are all lower bodies with dicks ( futa lower bodies )  You can use Lovers joystick ( then you must not add lower bodies in the clothes\ass folders) or you use the meshes and copy the one you need in the LAPF folder.

 

You have SetBody, so you know there are 50+ bodies. LAPF can not have lower bodies for all bodies.

!! If you want to use original Roberts female body (Roberts textures ) you must create your own LAPF lowerbody. ( NifSkope and texture work )

And in many lovers Mods are clothes ( sexy or  handcuffs ) and the body parts of the clothes are HGEC ! They need HGEC textures ( or it looks like on your screenshot )

Of course you can replace Mod clothes with Roberts clothes.

Thanks for your answer! So I'm really screwed if I want to use Robert's female body then I guess.

 

The issue I have with HGEC is that the body color is different from the face, and the nipples as well. Also, I don't know how it works with Oblivion Character Overhaul, which change every NPC and PC faces, and it's really amazing! So Robert + OCO was the perfect combination.

 

About armors: not a issue, since I wanted to stick to vanilla Oblivion where I could, and you can't find them as random loot, so it kinda defeats the purpose of rewards. I would use them if they were random loot tough, kinda like a mod in Skyrim where it does that: every equipment, even from mods, can be found at random following the leveling rules you set (you know, like Oscuro).

I'll go back to HGEC and see what I can do then. I just found that both OCO and OOO has HGEC support, which is nice.

Yes, I noticed that about MBP, so I'll go with vanilla or avoid those mods. Nothing much against that, I always used that and loved, but I wanted to try something new this time

There no longer is an alternate download pack.  I need to change that verbiage.

The alternate bodies can now be selected directly in game via the lovers settings, as they are included in the LAPF main download.  Unfortunately they are all HGEC bodies.  Now you can in fact use Roberts females, you just have to copy block the futa penis over to a lower body mesh of a naked roberts female and rename the mesh (and texture path) to overwrite the HGEC version of the futa penis mesh included in lovers.  That or throw it in one of the unused file folders that are included for extra bodies.  Roberts female bodies are used by such a tiny number of people that it didn't make sense to go through all the hassle to support it.  HGEC or HGEC compliant body meshes/textures accounts for probably about 98% or more of what folks use.

 

They do make a Roberts female body that uses HGEC textures, which would solve the compatibility issues that will crop up in other plugins that you may install.

 

OCO2 is fully supported as they also are HGEC compliant.

 

Oh, and nothing will "clip".  There are no body meshes "under" armors or clothes.  The body mesh is included with the outfit/armor in 99.99% of cases.

 

We are eventually going to move away from MBP so that OCO2 is the new bread and butter for plugins.  But I'm still struggling with LC3 , so it is on hold right now.

No worries. I managed to get HGEC, Robert's male and OCOv2 to work with Lovers: with OCO you just need to get 2 patches for the Khaajiit, and they aren't on the same page as the mod.

 

After installing everything else, my Oblivion works fine, so back to Cyrodill once again!
