I think that I can now reveal the project I'm working on.

There still some possibility of abort but I'm very interest in this project so I try everything to complete it.

This remain a very little project so don't expect the perfection or a great variety, I'm not skilled like LGMODS, SaafRats or all other great modders on this site.

But now we move on the project:

 

ASARI IMPORT

 

 

I just started so I'm only at the beginning of project, for now I imported only the face and eyes and luckily the texture was already ready. For body is little difference, for now I want to use the Mai silky body, made by Kayakff, make all the texture from 0 and make only nude but maybe after learning better the use of blender and other tools I can try to import the entire body of an Asari, nude and with clothes... But this is only for a possible future.

I#ve been wondering how to paint texture derectly on the mesh for a long time..... in photoshop it always have problem on edges..

@darklelouch78 I think the best solution is to use the SaafRats bush mesh except if you're good to create texture you'll have to do it on body texture.

After take a break because... because yes, I didn't have desire to do anything in DOA , I decided to restart and to re make from zero what I have made for Asari. Mai does not convince me so I swap with Phase 4.

 

For the release still serves much time.

I redid a lot of mods because the body chosen did not please me.

Each modders has its own personnality and made mods as he would play with

Nice progress there with your imports!

For infinite loading, just replace the unnused textures with little ones (some of these tiny black textures present in some costumes shouldd do the trick). Or just size down the big textures in your import, if these are bigger than 2k (save them as DXT1, no mip maps).

Btw, I think I saw this presentation format somewhere

Texture unused aren't there but the diff and norm map of body weight 5MB I need to resize theme, hope the quality don't fall.

 

Then I need to adjust weight but this will be another story

Nice to see some progress, regarding texture size wait.. 5Mb one texture ??? What resolution is it, 6K ? lol

If this is a texture with 2048x2048 save it as DXT1 to prevent infinite loading, same for Normal Map and Specular Map (the blue texture and the darker texture) save it as DXT1 you'll save size.

 

I noticed if your TMCL is bigger than 15Mb you'll have great chance to get infinite loading.

In this case you'll have to replace all unused texture by a very tiny square and resize or use DXT1 on some textures.

Yes I know the limit of TMCL size (changes for each character), for now is about 13 but I need reduce, now work on private but do infinite in all other part.

 

Yes is 2048x2048 but don't know why is so huge   I swap in DXT1
