Butt-ton of mods and sudden CTD on startup

I've been playing Skyrim with the same mods for awhile now, and I haven't changed anything in the mods, or added any. Out of nowhere, I get CTDs on startup, and I can't even get to the menu. I've looked and looked, and as far as I can tell, I'm not missing any masters, and my load order is fine. Everything should be up to date, too. Can anyone help me fix this?

Have you run LOOT for load order? Also a good idea to run TES5EDIT afterwards to make sure everything is fine. In MO have you looked to see if there are any conflicts? Is the crash at the beth logo? Usually a crash at the logo indicates a master is below the one needing it to be above it.

I used LOOT for the load order, there are conflicts in MO, but it's all just files overwriting each other, and TES5EDIT doesn't really help, considering I go 10 over the limit it has for running it... 

Sorry, forgot to say, but it crashes just after the Beth Logo, and the Skyrim logo appears and then the game crashes, as if the menu failed to load

Running Skyrim through any other mean works fine, with the downside of not having any of the mods running, don't know if this information is actually useful, but whatever

262 mods in your list how did you even manage to load this game ? max esp/esm count is 255  never exceed this number  if you used MO and then you would have gotten indication that playing skyrim will not be possible.

Lol it used to run just fine, and I've never gotten any kind of notification warning me. Maybe my MO is outdated? Either way, are you basically saying I need to remove mods until I get under the limit?

Your mod index (The thing that runs into Hexadecimal. AE, BD and such) should not and CANNOT get past FF but most people would suggest not going past FE because FF is reserved for... things. Exceeding FF results in an instant CTD.

I'm gonna guess you installed a few mods before the CTDs occured.

 

So yeah, you're gonna have to remove a few mods to get below the FF/FE limit.
