myuhinny Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 Load it into gimp2 use the magic stick and click the back ground it should highlight what you want removed then delete it. It works best with stuff with nice defined lines and not having all textures close to the same color or it will select more then you want. But since the main white background is it's own color you will be able to remove it easily if you want to remove the darker stuff around the skull you would have the test and see what all gets highlighted if too much gets highlighted you can use gimp2's lasso tool which is kind of like playing connect the dot place a dot then follow the outside of the object placing a dot here and there you can go back and adjust those dots if needed once you get it all the way around to the spot you started at click away from the object and circle back around till you are back at the first dot now click it to connect them. You do it this way for this one as you don't want to delete the skulls as what is in the center of what you lassoed is what will get deleted.
Freedan Posted April 8, 2016 Author Posted April 8, 2016 Thanks for answer. you use Gimp but i use Photoshop how i can save the file with photoshop
myuhinny Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 I haven't really used photoshop the few times that I used it for cutting a texture out and then saving the area that I cut out would be black in game but found out it was something that photoshop was doing when it was saving that was causing it but throwing the finished texture into gimp2 and then overwriting the texture file fixed the problem. I have photoshop paint-net and gimp2 out of the 3 photoshop is the least used out of them.
Chbaakal Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 Well, I'm thinking that your issue is the Material file you use for the decal, since it looks like you've already made an alpha channel. Here's the link for editing material files for transparency: http://www.modsfallout4.com/adding-transparency-to-item-tutorial/ Hope this helps....
