give followers lesser power spells?

is it possible to script a follower to use lesser power type skills like maximum drive + (gorilla k powers), powers of the dragoon, etc.. etc.. ? I've seen followers modded to use shouts, so im assuming yes ?

I'm not sure about the script part, but I'm assuming that it can be done, but it may not be necessary. The best way to find out what to do is to open said follower in the CK and read the spells that are available for it to use. Most followers that modders create don't use shouts or powers because they are overpowered anyway, and the ones that do use them are special cases with backstories that are meant to add immersion to Skyrim.

 

If you decide  to go ahead with the CK, be sure to pay attention to any racial, conditional, or keyword requirements.

if theres a follower mod that already uses shouts, and i add a lesser custom power through the console will they cycle to the lesser power?

Wouldn't you just have to change what spells and stuff they use with the CK? (creation kit) Followers will always use the better of everything that they have unless they are low and need more potions.
