Big-Guy Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 Hello everyone, I really need some installing ENB's I have tried to install Purevision & Realvision at least 5 times, each time with a fresh clean skyrim install. But each time i get a infinite loading screen when i fast travel. for example from Whiterun to Riften or from Markarth to Whiterun. The infinite loading screen only seem to occur when i fast travel. I can walk in and out of towns manually no issue. I tried following a video tutorial suggested by the modder, which is an updated tutorial as of Feb 1st 2016. I also tested skyrim between each suggested mod to make sure the game and fast travel is working, but I only get the Issue when I install the ENB itself. I tried running loot but it didn't help. I can boot and load save games no issue even start a new game, but when i fast travel I get infinite loading screen sometimes the game will crash but for the most part the game never stops loading when i fast travel. What am I doing wrong? This is my first time trying to install ENB. If it helps i have a gtx 970 4gb I5 6600k 8 gigs of ram
27X Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 It's pretty obviously the memory allocation settings or how many scripts you have running OR those things above are interacting with your OS if you're on 10. So with that in mind what OS what ENB version (the number, not the name) Do you have heap allocation enabled this: [THREADS]DataSyncMode=2PriorityMode=3EnableUnsafeFixes=false and do you have x64 enabled (you shouldn't)
Big-Guy Posted March 28, 2016 Author Posted March 28, 2016 I am using Windows 10 I am trying to install RealVision ENB v279b I'm sorry but i'm not sure what you mean by this. Do you have heap allocation enabled this: [THREADS]DataSyncMode=2PriorityMode=3EnableUnsafeFixes=false and do you have x64 enabled (you shouldn't)
27X Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 Since you're under 5 posts you aren't going to be able to upload anything so: I'm going to make the incredibly stupid and naive assumption that you followed Tuner's hyper absurd instructions to the letter and everything is as intended. 1. Update the enb to .305 from enbdev, just the dll and the exe, nothing else. Just those. 2. enable heap allocation by putting what I wrote above in enblocal.ini just above [PERFORMANCE] 3. Try to fast travel. 4. If you still crash then try the following [memory] settings one at a time, reverting the settings if you get a crash ExpandSystemMemoryX64=falseReduceSystemMemoryUsage=true DisablePreloadToVRAM=false ReservedMemorySizeMb=1024VideoMemorySizeMb=3072 (or 4096 if you're brave)EnableCompression=falseAutodetectVideoMemorySize=false
27X Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 If that was the case you'd get a fail when entering or leaving a city most times, particularly if you have parallax enabled. This sounds more like a bad navmesh or bad allocation.
Big-Guy Posted March 28, 2016 Author Posted March 28, 2016 I did try to install everything once and the game was working fine until I tried to fast travel, My first thought was that I have to many mods or texture mods installed, so I tried again (fresh install) leaving out everything except skyrim HD 2k textures and SMIM but still got infinite loading. I will try again in the next few days and do what you suggested 27X, I'll comeback and update as soon as i can.
Big-Guy Posted March 29, 2016 Author Posted March 29, 2016 I decided rather than try Realvision for the 6th time, I instead installed Tetrachromatic ENB which works and looks great. no infinite loading or other issues. I was able to get it to work on my first try. Thank you for your quick reply and help.
