Guest MonsterFish Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 You know those things that Martin Luther King speaks so fondly of? Yeah not those. I'm quite interested in dreams, if people have them and what it involves. I'm not a person that believes a dream can tell you what is wrong with you in the real world. You can be the saddest person in the world and dream about rainbows and puppies. You can be the happiest person and dream about raining blood. You can be Manly McManson, Manliest Man in the World, Winner of the Manly Men award for 50 years running and think about brushing horses and skipping in puddles. I can see why people can think that it can be affected by real world events, but I think that it's just a series of electrochemical signals between the synapses... I'm not a neurologist okay. So, I invite you the people of LL to share your dreams and nightmares. No matter how sexual, dark or lucid. As long as you're not one of those hilarious "Alpha Males" who says 'I fucked 5 supermodels last night but then I realised it was real and I was living the dream'. HAHAHAHAHA YOU'RE SO FUNNY, seriously shut the fuck up nobody cares about you trying to make up for the fact that you're the most boring person on the planet. Now someone's gonna post that because posting something that someone told you not to post is 2 cheeky and way too original. That last paragraph was passive aggressive as fuck. So, my dream last night was... I fucked 3 girls last night... Sadly it was just a dream. I was in Minecraft, except I was actually in Minecraft and me and some random dude made a little house above the sea just off of the main city that was already there. But then some other dude just straight up destroyed it and we had to go to the city. This is where it turned to a sort of GTA V style and there were cars and shit and I picked up 3 hookers with blue and pink hair (I'm into that shit). So we find a quiet spot to lay down and... My mom woke me up with the sound of the hoover (vacuum) and I was like 'Awww why?!' Isn't the first time I woke when something good was about to happen either, not even in the same day. I was sleeping earlier this morning at about 6 or 7 when I was in this huge... complex? I'm not even sure what it was, maybe school or something since 3 people I've never spoken to since school were there. So we were just messing around and this maybe mid-20 year old woman came up to us and started telling us off, I have no idea why but maybe it's because we were loitering or just broke the elevator or something. As she walked away she turned and said some snide comment like 'Maybe do something more intelligent next time'. I stopped right there and outright demanded an apology for insinuating I was stupid. That was when her manager or boss came out and asked what the problem was, I explained the situation and he got angry at her. It was here that I noticed that the girl was pretty cute and kind of panicking so I decided to be Captain Good Guy, tipping my fedora and stroking my neckbeard and decided to say that it was my fault and things got out of hand. I then got woke up by my dog barking his ass off and I was like 'Awww why?!' A few of the stranger ones that I can't vividly remember was a war between what I can only explain as Pinnipeds (Seals, Walrus', That kind of shit) using clubs and humans... and I was on the seals' side. There was also the time I was in the game Guild Wars and went across the Northern Shiverpeaks, that was a good dream. I used to keep a dream journal but I lost it and have no clue where it could be. I've had a few people say that they don't dream anymore and the only reason I do is because I have a "creative mind", I'm not sure if that's true or not but what are your thoughts? So... What kind of weird and wacky dreams have y'all been having?
PlsKnotThisAgain Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 I fucked 5 supermodels last night but then I realised it was real and I was living the dream! You're welcome.
Guest MonsterFish Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 Hilarious. But thanks for getting it over with now but I'm sure that 5 pages from now someone else will do it.
Leeeeeroy Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 i usualy don't remember my dream or nightmares, it's pretty rare for me to remember one and they usualy are really boring and mundane, nothing wondrous or out of this world, but there's one recurring nightmare that happens to me since i was around 5 years old it's simple, i'm just in the car waiting for my mom to finish buying some stuff, it sudenly starts moving and crash in to a wall, just that, i have no idea why it stuck with me till this day the other one i can remember started to happen after my dog died 2 years ago, i go the the frontyard and see it laying there dead, and i really hate that nightmare these are the ones i remember
CNKTHoward Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 i usualy don't remember my dream or nightmares, it's pretty rare for me to remember one and they usualy are really boring and mundane This exactly. And usually I don't even care for the stuff I'm dreaming because it's quite often bullshit and just a dream. BUT something else I did experience was, that I much rather enjoy nightmares over normal dreams. I don't know why, but I hate to dream of something that I actually "want" in reality. Probably because it feels real in the dream and then waking up and realising that it's not real is worse then dreaming about being chased by monsters or something. Also, nightmares always give me the feeling of being... well I guess I would phrase it "lively". Probably because of the adrenalin rush - who knows. Anyway, dreams are dumb, nightmares are nice - at least for me =)
micropanther Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 I can give you weird and wacky... I dream of different realms, demons, and angels on a nightly basis, and have since I was eight, fucked if I know why lol. I'm just your average (weird) person and I've never heard of anyone else experiencing dreams like this, I'd rather not have them to be honest, they freak me right out!

Anyway, dreams are dumb, nightmares are nice - at least for me =) I also can barely remember dreams, the ones I gave as examples are recent ones and the ones I remember vividly and recent ones. I also get that dreams can leave you frustrated. A recent dream I had, a girl I had a crush on for just about the longest time embraced me amorously and it felt really warm and gentle and real (Sappy AF). Kind of left me frustrated that it wasn't real and I haven't seen the girl in 5 years, she barely talked to me anyways, it was kind of a quiet crush. I've not had a nightmare since I was 7 after playing MediEvil the first time (That shit was scary for a 7 year old). I was being chased by those knight things and skeletons in a graveyard and I couldn't escape. In the same dream where the girl hugged me, me and my friend went to a "commie bath" in the "commie district" and every person we passed we had to do the Nazi Salute and say 'Heil Hitler' (Dreams can't differentiate between communists and fascists). The bath was filthy as fuck and the place was basically a mile of poverty so the bath and the people in it were absolutely filthy. So I just waved it off like 'Nah it's okay I'll take a shower'.
GrimReaper Posted March 18, 2016 Posted March 18, 2016 (Dreams can't differentiate between communists and fascists) I mean seriously, what
Guest MonsterFish Posted March 18, 2016 Posted March 18, 2016 When there's a district in a city that is literally called 'The Commie District' and a building in that district called 'The Commie Baths' and my friend is going "Hey, we're dirty we need to go to the commie baths", not being able to differentiate between communism and fascism is perhaps the most normal thing in there.
Captain Cobra Posted March 18, 2016 Posted March 18, 2016 Had a dream about a nuclear war. Managed to say goodbye to everyone important between the blinding flash and the heat ball hitting us.
GimmeBACON Posted March 18, 2016 Posted March 18, 2016 I had a dream I was taking Mila Kunis's cheeks to pound town, I was quite distraught when I awoke.
Guest Posted March 18, 2016 Posted March 18, 2016 I have reoccurring dreams in battlefield scenarios, I die in them quite frequently. It can be distressing at times and they always feel so intense and lucid.
Joomla Posted March 19, 2016 Posted March 19, 2016 probably my most interesting of all nightmares happened about the time i was 15 old. i very rarely get nightmares and even less rarely remember any dreams at all but this one stuck. its very short one but still. i used to live in this very old from mid 1800 mansion that was pretty cheap due to it being more than 30km away from nearest city and also because we got it once its previous owner failed to use it as hotel of some sort. my room was on the side of it and only way to access it was by going first outside walking around the house and going in from other door. and during winter because the far away location it was almost completely black outside. we had some lights but not much anyway the nightmare so it "starts" as im walking to my own room just like i would do every day after its about time to go to bed, i walk around the side and about 10 steps from my door i feel something is wrong. its really really quiet like world had stopped and i can just feel eyes on my back. i turn around and its another "me". just like looking in the mirror. i try to move but i cant its like my legs suddenly became stone. i try to look around but i cant do that either, i became aware that i was dreaming at this point (it happens to me fairly often) so as the other me starts to strangle me i manage to ask "who are you" and wake up on my room. it was interesting as how almost the instant i finished my question the dream ended. and it wasnt like how my dreams usually end. usually they slowly fade away as i become more aware of reality, this time it was like *snap* and i was out of the dream. only one other time i remember being aware of the dream during nightmare and that time i beated the random zombie like thing that was chasing me. Had a dream about a nuclear war. Managed to say goodbye to everyone important between the blinding flash and the heat ball hitting us. i remember one dream which had nuclear explosion but it wasnt bad dream it was just really weird one. in the dream me and some other person which by the time of the dream felt like my friend but after waking up i cannot understand who it was, were the ones to plant the bomb. so it wasnt dropped we delivered it to the point and left. not too long after we left it exploded and after it came white ash-like things from the sky. like snowing but warm. and it felt really dark/uncanny how people and world reacted to it. its not how normal reaction would be they kind of ignored it. the sky stayed deep warm orange/yellow, like it was on fire and little wind there was felt warm.
Regallag Posted March 19, 2016 Posted March 19, 2016 I'm a lucid dreamer, so my dreams are all good. If a dream starts to go bad I can either make it good or wake up. In my most recent interesting dream it was well after midnight. I looked out the back door and saw a really tall (like 7'10"), really sketchy looking motherfucker looking back in at me. I pointed at him then made a throat-slitting gesture, then he laughed and jumped onto the roof in a single bound. I saw him standing above the skylight, which he shot, shattering the thing. He landed like a cat and pointed the gun at me, but I used my laser eyes (lucid dreamer, remember) to shoot the gun out of his hand. He landed near where I keep one of my swords, so he picked it up and came at me, but I'd turned my hands into chainsaws. I tore that ugly fucker to bloody bits and it felt great. Then I thought, "I'm going to have to explain this to the cops... that sounds boring, I'd better just wake up now." So I woke up.
Chaos63 Posted March 20, 2016 Posted March 20, 2016 I was watching some video of a bunch of girls doing some acrobatic-swimming-whatchamacallit...something. Among them was the most beautiful black haired beauty I've ever seen and I just had to meet her. Fast-forwarded to a swimming gym with a bunch of separate pools all in different rooms. It was low gravity for some reason so I spent some time bouncing off wall-to-wall(I get side tracked easily). Anyway, I found the girls in a kinda small pool, there must have been I don't know 10+ girls in there. I approached them and asked them if they could take off their sunglasses(the fuck it was an indoor pool???), so they did it an all looked up at me confused. I darted around with my eyes and found the dark haired one, pointed at her and said "you". I went to her and shook her hand, telling her how I saw a video of her and I just had to meet her. Then I asked them if they could do a quick 15 minute performance for my viewing pleasure, and a blonde told me I first have to pay their manager/trainer/master, so I went "yeah, whatever" and went into the other room. On the way there, I realized that holy fuck...the dark haired beauty looks a lot like that girl I was so madly in love with in 8th grade, in fact, it IS her! I kinda broke the fourth wall after that and woke myself up. Fuck.
Jazzman Posted March 20, 2016 Posted March 20, 2016 I don't dream much, actually almost never but one of a couple of years ago I remember. It was summer. My younger sister and I apparently were still kids, barefoot and dressed up in patterned potato sacks of sorts woven by mom, and an alien army marched south along the pass road, ravaging any wealth in their way, killing almost everybody. Soon they'd have reached the place of our birth, a shitty little village high up at 4.800 ft on the Atacama Plateau, connected to the next village in the South only by a large suspension bridge made of grass that traversed a deep canyon. And then they came, and with them the killing. There was a great panic among the people and we cried for our parents. No answer. So I did what everybody did, I took her by my hand and we started to run, run towards the bridge for the bridge meant the gateway to safety, our black hair flowing in the wind. But we were slow, far slower than the adults and thus we fell behind, accompanied only by mothers, children and old folk, the air filled with their screaming. And so we reached the canyon, but there was no bridge anymore, just the abyss and people on the other side. The adults had cut off the connection already, leaving us to our fate. People jumped off the cliff. I remember that I've looked my sister into her big eyes, saw the tears running down her face and the disbelief in the inevitable. I told her that I love her so much and took her in my arms. Then we jumped. I was soaked when I woke up, crying. However, the whole dream apparently makes no sense, appears to be nonsense of the subconscious cos that bridge didn't exist in the days of our youth anymore but was destroyed like most bridges of that type during the Spanish conquest, leaving nothing but small stone anchor pillars on each side of the canyon and there is no story in the archives, no legend traded by the elders of what might have happened back then to our village, actually no nothing. But I, I feel sorry for all those who got killed on that very day... cos I've felt their pain.
MikeJones84 Posted March 21, 2016 Posted March 21, 2016 I have a recurring nightmare of an asteroid striking and me and my family being obliterated by the blast wave. Usually I'm at a family gathering and I notice the asteroid going overhead and it hits somewhere beyond the nearby hills. I call everyone's attention to it and we run outside. At first we see nothing, and a few seconds later the giant wall of ash and debris comes racing over the hills towards us, and when it hits us the dream ends. I think I've had this minor fear of an asteroid strike or massive explosion since I was a kid. I blame that dream sequence in Terminator 2 and living between Mt. St. Helens and a nuclear power plant, and reading books in the library about how to survive nuclear war. Idk...
Userper Posted March 21, 2016 Posted March 21, 2016 I used to have a really weird recurring dream, it started when I was about 8 or 9, used to freak me the f*** out too. It would start with me running, looking around and realizing I'm not actually moving, I'm sprinting on the spot, can't stop, but I'm not going anywhere either. The environment would be a dark field, no grass, or foliage of any kind, perfectly flat, with no stars in the sky... just dark. I can see other people doing the exact same thing in an almost grid like formation, running and not making any progress. Then I look and see in the distance a large steam roller, with spikes on the front wheel running straight over people, moving slowly, but remember I'm running, not making any distance, and this thing is getting closer... anyway, I panic and when it gets real close, I always wake up. I know what it means, I've had years to resolve the issue, but I remember it vividly because I used to have this dream every week or so, I would always wake up in a hot sweat, my clothes and bed absolutely soaked in sweat. it was a weird thing about the system crushing me under its boot, and me not being able to do anything about it, but yeah you wanted an example, there you go
Guest MonsterFish Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 Had a dream last night where I was back in school and with my friends from there. Kinda miss sitting in the canteen at my old school chatting with my friends, even though most of them were major cuntmuffins. Threw one of my childhood bullies drink carton against the wall, fuck that guy I couldn't care less if he died a horrible death IRL.
