I remember using it in the past and I hadn't much probelms but now my browser is always blocking either the site or the download saying it contains malware. Some help is appreciated, thanks

Often there is someone who can help.
myuhinny Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 Do you have a malware or virus remover? If so check and see if those are what is causing it. I have never had the browser block it. Also try running them to see if there is anything on your computer. I use malwarebytes anti malware remover for malware.

When you try to download the files, you get a red screen and a lot of text, right? If that is the case, look at the end of the text. I can't tell you what exactly it says (I think "Details"), but there is a button on which you can click on. If you click on the button, an option to ignore the safety warning and download the file should appear. It should look similar to this.

I have it ignored and had thereby a very malicious Trojan downloaded!
myuhinny Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 I have no warnings with chrome going to http://pan.baidu.com/ or any downloads I checked on 3 or download downloads from there and none of them threw up any errors. It could be something added to the browser addon extension or something else.

I tryed ignoring it as you sayed but even the download was blocked by the browser saying it contained something dangerous. Is chrome really that stupid?

myuhinny Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 Pictures linked from other sites are also culprits at times if the site the picture is linked from is listed as bad or is on the bad list. I have run into it a few times on the site but reported them right away so that they could be removed before the site would be listed as bad.

Yes i'm using ublock and disconnect.me as extensions Quite often when your browser or AV blocks a site the site itself is ok, what usually causes it is an ad, or in the case of forums a post, containing a malware link. Well I need to try then but the download is blocked, i have no idea how should i solve that
