Armors/Bodies stretching and making NPCs invisible

I'm having a weird issue where I'll be exploring, and I'll see something stretch through the sky, if I follow it, it leads to female npcs, and this is what they look like




Trying to figure out what is going on, because it is making npcs invisible.
I'm thinking it might have something to do with HDT/bouncy breasts, because it seems to only happen to females.

You would be right in thinking that it's HDT. However there really isn't much that can be done about it. (Some say managing a constant 60fps is the only way to stop it. Others say other stuff. Never found an actual working fix)

Could also have something to do with the skeleton many times stretching to infinity is caused by using a incompatible skeleton. Check your skeletons check SOS if you are using it reinstall it if you have to just so you know that the skeleton wasn't overwritten.

I'm using Xpms skeleton, so I'm good there.

Man this sucks, I have so much stuff dependent on HDT, if I disable it, I'm screwed either way I guess.

Yeah, I've never been able to determine what exactly causes this either. It's really annoying, and frequently causes CTD as well if it happens to my player character.
