Frozium Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 I've just updated my computer to 8GB RAM and I'd like to know where can I get a low cost-yet visually beautiful ENB. My computer specs are: -Windows 7 Ultimate -Intel Core I5 2450M (2.5GHz x 4 cores) -Nvidia GeForce 610M (2GB) -8GB RAM Thanks for your help
sila Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 You could try this one http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/63839/? Doubt you could use an actual enb on that pc though.
Cema Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 ... Skyrim recommended : Ram : 4 Go Gpu : 1 Go You could run most ENB if you don't use too heavy texture mods. I advise you to try Rudy ENB for Natural Lighting and Atmospheric. It's elegant, it weights nothing and you loose very few fps.

His gpu is weaker than the recommended requirements for skyrim, and ENB is one of the most gpu intense mods you can add to skyrim... Currently I get about 40-60 fps outdoors with 4k textures on a gtx 970, removing only the enb puts me in the 90-100 range Edit: but by all means... see if you can run an enb... who knows maybe you can? Worth a try anyway...

Many people can run ENBs with worse computers than mine's I used to use an hd6450 gpu for skyrim, which is slightly better than your 610m. I couldn't run enbs at all, ended up using the same mod I linked earlier. When I upgraded to an r9 270 gpu, I was able to run some lighter enbs with 2k texture packs, but it was still very heavy on performance. Was not until I got my 970 that I could run enbs without making the game borderline unplayable (30 fps for me is borderline, anything lower is not acceptable, though I used to run in the 20s with that hd6450 and a light texture pack) That said, give it a shot, if it does work out for you then I will stand corrected
Cema Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 Well I don't have much more than him and when I switch to Rudy it runs smoothly with a lot of texture packs. He should try without any texture pack. But yeah, not the idealistic setup ...
Frozium Posted February 4, 2016 Author Posted February 4, 2016 Trust me, I'd like to have a better computer, but I'm kinda short on money
