What about the sixt house ?

Hi

I'm thinking... in TESC, there is the most lovecraftian faction ever made : the sixth house.

So, what do you think about constructing a small mod (or a part of a mod) about that faction ?

With mutated people, like this :

And of course...

Some people made interesting mods with the sixth house :

I know for the lore : Dagoth Ur is dead. But I'm sure we can exploit this... and these disformations and Sexlab.... I know, I like Tzimisces.

The goal is simple : reconstruct something like the sixth house, and turn people into monsters...

Do you think is relevant ? Possible ?

I'M ALWAYS A SLUT FOR SIXTH HOUSE LORE!!!

Technically, lore-wise, there is some chance of Dagoth Ur returning.

The Heart of Lorkhan, the thing he had been leeching power from, wasn't destroyed in Morrowind, only rendered inactive (Vivec mentions this off-handedly, IIRC), and while Dagoth Ur is technically dead, given that he had been leeching power from the god-form of Lorkhan, a god ho is dead but not, it's unclear what death actually means for him.

He could easily simply have been absorbed back into the oversoul of Lorkhan, and could, with a bit of prompting, unabosrb himself.

You'd probably have to reawaken the Heart of Lorkhan first, which would doubtless require the Tools of Kagrenac (restored, mind you, not the useless versions in vanilla Skyrim) and maybe some research into the heartstones.

Archmagister Neloth would no doubt lend a hand if offered that chance to study the magicks of the Sixth House, and allowed to work on a corprus variant of his own.

You'd have to find a way into the old facility under Red Mountain, which is probably buried under a mile of ash...

so I herd u leik dagoths????

Guess what? I've already made a nice-looking House Dagoth bonemold amulet, and two banners using screenshots of the old Morrowind House Dagoth banners (need to redo the normal I made tomorrow, though), and am working on a telvanni robe retexture that looks awesome and will work on some clutter and furniture.

With the Revenge of Dagoth Ur mod, we'll have enough stuff to outfit a Sixth House base!

I played Revenge of Dagoth Ur... the assets are good (except dagotu ur armor and mask, so ugly than morrowind version). The quest is not good.

I see...

Yes, Revenge of the sixth house contains all the need, except ash ghouls and ascended sleeper...

It's possible de create a small cult near Windhelm, join them, and help them to expand and launch an expedition.

Building an entire mod about that can be very difficult, but maybe I can try something... adding it to another mod. It will economise time.

I already placed some rests of the sixth house and Kragenac stuff into TID (I'm trying to create an ascended sleeper)... so, i can rework the lore to establish a link between Dagoth Ur and Chaur Tegoth... (the daedroth faced Kragenac, and was imprisoned by him by using the heart of Lorkhan... it was before the war of the first concil).

Sixth house, lore wise, is still around and kicking.  The other great houses of Morrowind are around as well.

Make the location to the east of Windhelm.  Past that broken tower and somewhat into the mountain.  That section of Skyrim is almost never used.

The Nerevarine is basically told at a point during the main quest of Morrowind that should he vanquish Dagoth Ur, all his holdings goes to him.  But lore wise it staits that the Nerevarine at the end of the game, his location is unknown.  Remember though, your PC in the third game ends up becoming Immortal.

You could try tying into the sixth house lore and make it to where they are trying to rebuild their status now that the majority of the other great houses have never been used to the effects of Red Mountain.  They are the one House in morrowind lore that could have literally survived the eruption.

So, you will be the nerevarine, or fight against him ?

Or the nerevarine could also join Dagoth Ur...

Can do what you want with the Nerevarine.  But in Elder Scrolls Morrowind, your actual character IS the Nerevarine.  What you do with this Sixth House mod is up to you.  I was just saying that Lore wise for the games that the Sixth House is still around so a mod based on it would be neat.

Also going by the lore, Dagoth Ur was the only true friend Nerevar had.  When Nerevar was betrayed and killed Dagoth Ur chose to keep his promise to Nerevar.

When Nerevar is reborn, as in your character in the 3rd game, the Tribunal tells you to go kill Dagoth Ur without explaining anything.  You yourself find out the truth of how the Tribunal came to be.  By the end of Mournhold DLC there are 2 dead tribunal gods, Sotha Sil, and Almalexia.  In the base game after completing the Nerevarine quest line you can either choose to let Vivic live or kill him.

The games ending even states that the Sixth House's holdings and all they have now belong to the Nerevarine to decide on.  If you chose the " canon " ending, you let them survive as an actual accepted House of the Dunmer.

Morrowind to me is my favorite ES game.  To see stuff from that game being put into this would make me happy as a fat kid in a candy store.

I see... so, we have possibilities for a small house dagoth in Skyrim...

I also think morrowind is the best, with a very nice atmosphere. Oblivion is the worst...

House Dagoth?.. Maybe lack of Ash creatures' models and animations. I think Corprus Stalkers don't look like Draugr

http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Ash_Creatures

I know, that's the biggest problem : we need to adapt the meshes for Skyrim (for actors who have specific skeleton like ascended sleeper, that'an hell).. or to use a trick, like creating armor pieces (for example, creating amask by using the meshe of the ascended sleeper meshe : so, we wil be able to use a normal dunmer, put this mask on him (outfit), and hop, we have an ascended sleeper)

For that, we need the help of people who have modelizer skills (Blender, 3d max, etc...). I tired, but I nver suceed to install blender and associated languages correctly, and use them for import .nif files.

Dreamers are easy to do : just naked dunmers.

Sixt house assets like ash statues are already available in the Revenge od Dagoth Ur mod (nexus). I already implementent the ash statues in TID, it's work well.

The author of Morrowind immersion created an ash ghoul based on a draugr, so it's possible... if there are the skills.

If you are looking for models for the ascended sleeper, and ash ghoul, the creature resource made by Vicn has these.  They are rigged to the hagraven, and draugr skeletons.

It's on the nexus: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/65134/?

I'm a big fan of Morrowind, so If you need help setting them up let me know.  Or if they are not included for some reason in that pack, I have the one that does.  Or try this link:  http://naaaaikikvicnvicn.blog.fc2.com/

Your links don't work...

I'm trying to use blender, but it's an hell... my idea is too create helmet/mask,a nd put them on actors to made them "ascended sleeper" or "ash Ghoul". It will be simplier than convert morrowind actors meshes into skyrim one, and I don't speak about the skeleton...

If I suceed, I will prepare something by using the temple in TID. The daedroth high priest is a dagoth... so, maybe he could send the player to find the rests of the sixth house (shrine : 1 ash ghoul + dreamers )

Edit : ZAZ helped a lot : he made a functionnal ascended sleeper face !
