Basically, I start playing at a framerate of 40-45 FPS and it slowly drops down until a point I just have 10-15 FPS (it takes around 30 minutes). Is there any way to fix it? A guy told me to modify VRAM in BIOS, but since I'm using a laptop, I can't NOTE: I reuploaded this post because it seemed to be left for dead. DeviousDesires Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 Could be the use of VRam. If you pass the limit of your gpu (2gb) the fps goes down the drain, in any game. Edit: Also try using something like msi afterburner to check on these things.

Edit: Also try using something like msi afterburner to check on these things. I cannot change the VRAM because I'm using a laptop. Also, can MSI Afterburner be harmful for my laptop?
D_ManXX2 Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 laptop are no desktop so you use stuff to overclock you better have something to cool your laptop down or the overheating will occur more rapidly. Even with all the things in place a laptop will always run hotter then a desktop. I tried playing skyrim on my laptop but had to quite using it after 15 to 30 minutes.

Veladarius Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 Get the Skyrim Performance Monitor and see what is going on with the game, if you are maxing things out (especially on textures and such) it will show things down. Also, the program will tell you temps of your system so you can see if those are too high. As for Borderlands 2, my setup barely has to work to run it at max but for Skyrim it has to work pretty hard (I don't use too harsh of an enb either).
