DareDemon666 Posted January 14, 2016 Posted January 14, 2016 Hi all, So recently I stumbled upon this website: http://mitakusaner.blog.fc2.com/ The site/blog features many different outfits and armours, however only a handful are CBBE and of those only a few work with bodyslide and change shape to match the sliders. I've always wanted to know how to convert outfits properly and what better time to learn than now, now that a problem has arisen. If someone could talk me through the process of converting outfits to CBBE Bodyslide I'd be very grateful, and if my attempts are successful I'll post the conversions up here for others to use. Thanks in advance, DareDemon666
M.BISON Posted January 14, 2016 Posted January 14, 2016 http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/1324094-unofficial-bodyslide-2outfit-studio-tutorials/ the same person made a thread on LL.....somewhere
BringtheNoise Posted January 14, 2016 Posted January 14, 2016 Blabba's Bodyslide / Outfit Studio Tutorial on LL http://www.loverslab.com/topic/25180-unofficial-bodyslide-2outfit-studio-tutorials/ Note: if you install the UUNP functions in Bodyslide 2 (Skyrim Version) you should also have mulitple "X to CBBE" options under the references in Outfit Studio. X Shapes to CBBE include: SevenBase, 7B Bombshell, 7B Natural, 7B Cleavage, UNP, UNPK, and about 30 types in total (all with the high and low function). Note: the Texture on the reference will probably not look correct if you are using CBBE (but the shapes will be correct). Note 2: you may need to right click on a mesh and choose "Move shape" to align part of the outfit with the reference shape (that is due to how an outfit was generated originally and what skeleton was used). Note 3: If you load and outfit into Outfit Studio and it is completely off in shape, scale, or rotation. That is also due to how the creator of the outfit saved the outfit, along with what reference skeleton they used. If you have 3D Max installed you can load the nif into max and point to the skeleton that comes with bodyslide (\skyrim\data\CalienteTools\BodySlide\res\skeleton_female_xpmse.nif) and then export the outfit back out. That usually fixes any issues with rotation, deformation, and location. But I'ld take a wild guess and say you probably don't have Max installed so if you run into an outfit that is completely messed up when you load it into outfit studio... leave it alone and move on to another outfit that you can actually work with. Anyhow... Read thru Blabba's Tutorial then play around in outfit studio. You may also want to read up on how to use Gerra6's Mesh Rigger (as it does a better weight paint transfer then OS does). Mesh Rigger can be found here on LL or in Gerra6's Combined toolset at http://kgtools.org Have fun
DareDemon666 Posted January 15, 2016 Author Posted January 15, 2016 Thanks, And to BringthNnoise; Believe it or not I actually do have 3Ds max since I'm using it in college. If I run into an issue such as those I'll try the import/export trick. Cheers, DareDemon666
