Hey guys!

So I started a youtube channel where I will upload Skyrim related videos and wanted to know what kind of stuff you guys would want to see!

My first video was showing how to add warpaints to the character x) (I'm so creative I know)

Here's the link: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCj8rImv5yKmNCaTvkrNQ9Jw

Don't... start a youtube channel about Skyrim.

It's oversaturated.

Don't... unless you can do something unique. There are already bunch of them with pretty much the same content.

I can do unique stuff, first video is a quick tutorial so I have atleast 1 video

Don't listen to them. YouTube videos should be something you like to do, don't do it if you're after fame or money. It's as simple as that. So if you like doing Skyrim videos, go for it. I also strongly support it.

I don't know if it's your thing, but I enjoy seeing let's plays, especially wacky modded ones for fun, just a suggestion. Though tutorials like the one you uploaded are always helpful, especially for newcomers that seek knowledge, you can never have enough of them in my opinion.

Not only oversaturated -- it's more than 4 years old and now superceded.  I's officially Old Hat.

The most dedicated and gifted modders have moved on to Fallout 4.

You want to make a successful YT channel? Go where the modders go.

I just watched your video, and I honestly thought it was good. You sound really confident compared to most other YouTubers first video, and you sound like you're also having fun xD I subbed and liked just so I'd be the first one (You also deserved it, and I'll support you) :3 Ha.

PS: Your character's beautiful ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Skyrim, as far as modding, has not been replaced until FO4 has proper modding tools available. The current mods for FO4 are hack edits, or required extensive reverse engineering to make work. Many of them will simply break your game. There is nowhere to "move on" to, unless you're bored and want to spend a month hacking together a mod just to re-do it when the CK comes out.

The entire reason I stopped playing FO4 before even finishing it is simply because modding is currently extremely limited.

Hey there, dude.
I just watch your video, and i must say - this is good video. Don't listen to anyone, do what you want to do. Skyrim never gets old. With all mods, it's nearly endless experience. This is the most epic game, i have ever player. Those who said, that Skyrim is old - there are retarded old fags. You know, the game ends only when you decide to end it :)

Okay I have to admit that it's quite a good video. But a few things I've taken note of.

A. Set your BFloatPointRenderTarget to 1.

B. Seems like you're rambling a bit. I know this is more like a 'test video', but it seems you're struggling for words. I hope this doesn't offend you, but you should probably know what you're going to say beforehand. Not sure if this is going in the tech support direction or just having a bit of fun direction. If it is going in the bit of fun direction, then that's fine. But if you're going in the tech support direction people don't really want to know how cool something is, they'll generally have a problem and want to fix it. But hey, if you wanna add a little bit of flavour then go ahead.

I still stand by the fact that Skyrim Videos are an oversaturated medium. Not old, Skyrim will never get old, but still oversaturated.

As far as I can see you take criticism very fine, that's necessary as the haters on youtube will come, but do what you like, and maybe showcase loverslab, just beware of the ban hammer on youtube!

Editing my post doesn't change anything. Skyrim superseded Oblivion in modding. No duh. And guess what it has. Tools to do it with.

There will always be a "next" platform. But Skyrim isn't done yet like you want to assume.

Thanks for the feedback, it's not my native language so I struggle and it should also contain some fun :)

Also hope you got permission for use of that music, otherwise expect your videos to drop like flies.

My advice would be very similar to that often given to aspiring authors,

Is what you are currently showing us the most interesting thing available to show right now? If not, why aren't you showing us that?

If this is your first-ish video then I must say I'm fucking impressed mate! from a purely technical standpoint its great, simple and effective, keep it that way.

one minor complaint, you could have pretty much cut the video in half and still have the point come across, it's not a huge deal when it is at the end of the video but if in the future you plan to make videos that require you to show multiple things in the same video, be careful not to ramble in between, if it happens don't be afraid to simply cut it in post(editing) again refer to the advice above when in doubt.
