I'm getting an error message with the magazines part two and misc files will not open.

Kinda the same here. Misc and paintings are 0 KB files when I try to download them Scratch that. None of the files have the size indicated by the download page.Tried with a different browser and same result. The billboards file, for instance, is 744 kb only instead of 73 MB.

On a different note, how does this mod differ from "Sickotik's Personal Porn Overhaul 1.2" (that mod's "Paintings" file is 0kb as well, btw)?

I just ran into the exact same problem, someone posted about it here http://www.loverslab.com/topic/13724-problems-with-downloads/page-8

Sometimes the extension changes to "solitaire theme8", other times the extension is right, but the file is either 0kb or 744kb. Changing browser (Firefox/Internet Explorer/M$ Edge) doesn't help. I haven't tried Chrome yet, that one might work because it handles some things differently, but not sure.

I *think* it's a Windows 10 problem, and that the internet connection somehow messes things up from the redirection mechanics on the downloads page. Anyway, not sure here, the post I linked above couldn't find anything else about it either, and from googling, it seems it's a LoversLab Exclusive.

Tried Firefox and Chrome with the same result. And no Win10 here. So that's not it.

I re uploaded everything today to make it work with NMM and I may have screw it up or let my upload time out since I was uploading to all my mod pages at once. I'll look into it tonight and get everything working again. Sorry!

My personal picks is an old combination of all my favorite images splattered across the wasteland. Lore friendly mod is my hand crafted lore friendly images only. Same amount of images though. ALL OF THEM.

Okay it's not my files, Lovers Lab has somehow screwed up all my mods. Even my sample images aren't working and I never changed those. I'll talk to a moderator tonight.

Hmmm, if the problem turns out to be recurring, then you can always upload them to https://mega.nz/ or uploaded.whatever or something. I'm pretty sure LL has some feature to designate "mirrorsites", at least, I've seen it quite a few times on downloads here in the past.

Still, shame on Nexus for removing your mods :(

I'm actually amazed DDproductions didn't move over here yet xD

I still haven't heard back from the head moderator yet. Hopefully, it'll all work out. Gave me time to fix all my files though. And to play the game myself for once.

Definitely bummed the Nexus acts like fascists. I've always like the people and moderators at Lovers Lab anyway, just wish they had the numbers Nexus does. Then again, when Bethesda.net becomes the source for all mods, the Nexus will take a massive hit, and with console users joining the modding community, Lovers Lab will still be the best place for dirty mods. And they grow expenentially.

I'm not sure if the problem is on my end or not, but when downloading the painting pack from this mod, I apparently get Hig's Gallery files, including the Hig's Gallery .esp.

I also get the same file from your porn overhaul paintings pack.

The billboard packs and miscellaneous packs from both this pack and the porn overhaul are also identical.

The magazine downloads give me the correct files, however. I haven't tried downloading the magazines from the porn overhaul, so I don't know if those are correct.

The filenames are all as 'Sickotik's Personal Picks' [Paintings, Billboards, Misc, etc.].

No it's not on your end. "Higs" is another modder on Lovers Lab, and he created an ESP to use that creates 30 something new picture frames to use for overlaying new photo's on. I could have either renamed the ESP (Which I think would have been pretty rude), or created my own ESP (Which would have been an extra pain, and I spent 4 weeks making all these mods, so I'm pretty modded out at the moment.) So, his ESP is in there, which allowed me to add 30 or so of my own new paintings to the pack. It will be called Higs in game. Eventually, I'll write my own ESP and have a SICKOTIK folder in game, but for now, I'm just not ready to do that. lol.

As far as the Billboard packs go, they shouldn't be identical, but definitely will have MOSTLY the same ones, because I liked most of my Lore friendly BIllboards, so I put them in my personal picks pack. It is my personal picks after all. I just happen to pick my own billboards. lol

They should also be the same magazines. Since those are also my favorite.

To be honest, I've spent most of the day trying to write my own ESP. I've got REALLY close (have the frames in a settlement building category) but the textures aren't working. Just the frames. When I get it working, I'll upload it. But I'm not a script kiddie. I just started making mods a week or two ago after wanting my own art in the game. I'm a Photoshop graphics designer, not a modder. So I'm working on it, but give me time. Believe me, I want nothing more than to have the end-all perfect texture replacer mod.

Hey there Sickotik, I just wanna say that you did a really good job with the textures you have chosen. If only they were at a higher resolution so the blur doesn't ruin the fun of viewing them... :(

You can see the real difference 4k makes in-game in this mod.

Well, I would love to make 4K textures all across the board but some images are just low resolution and I can't change that. But none should be "blurry". They're all clear in my game.

When looking at my work in game be sure to "stand there" for a bit. It takes time to load the resolutions. That's probably your issue. Like I said, all my images are clear. Well, there may be up to 5 out of 300 something that we're really shitty resolution but I loved them so they got put in anyway.

I've decided many of you would probably like to create your own "Extra Paintings Mod" so here's the step by step process of creating your VERY OWN ESP like mine. Let's go!

You're going to need three programs to create your own "New Paintings" ESP.

GIMP (With the DDS Plugin[Google it])

FO4edit (It's on the Nexus[Put the Hardcoded file and the FO4edit(Which will be called TESVedit[You need to rename it FO4edit or it won't work]) into your Fallout 4 Main Folder.

WinRAR (Google it)

Install Sickotik's Personal Paintings + 50 Extra (found in Sickotiks Various Paintings Pack) with NMM so the ESP file is in your load order. You will be changing this.

Step One - Replacing Sickotik's Art with your own favorite filth.

1. Open Gimp and drop one of the Sickotik's Art images (From Fallout4>Data>Textures>SetDressing>SickotiksArt) onto the main area first. This will bring up the image so you can work on it.

2. Then all you have to do is drop the image YOU WANT to replace Sickotik's image with, right on top of mine.

3. A Dialogue box will appear, UNCHECK LOAD MIPMAPS (You do not want it loading all those extra files, or nothing will work)

4. Then take the (see image) SCALE TOOL, and tick "Maintain Aspect" at the bottom. Now just scale your image so it fits nicely in the frame.

post-769561-0-09769300-1452566149.jpg

5. Now go over to your layers panel (see image) and right click on YOUR image (Which should be the top one). [if you don't see the layer panel go to WINDOWS>RECENTLY CLOSED DOCS> and make sure both are turned on.]

post-769561-0-07424300-1452566147_thumb.jpg

6. Once you have right clicked your image, select "MERGE DOWN". Your two images will now become one.

7. Right Click on the single image and select "LAYER TO IMAGE SIZE". This will ensure your image is the same as Higs original. If you don't do this, it won't work. The resolution must be the same.

8. Go over to FILE and select EXPORT AS. (It will automatically default to replace the original image you dropped in and this is what we want.)

9. Click EXPORT (A dialogue box will again appear)

10. For Compression Select BC2/DXT3. Format you can leave default. And for Mipmaps select GENERATE MIPMAPS.

post-769561-0-04673600-1452566145_thumb.jpg

11. Press OKAY and now you have your first DDS file replaced with your own image. Ready to work in game. Do this for ALL the files. At this point, you can run the game and you'll have your images in there. If you want to make your own ESP with your own name, keep reading.

Step Two (If you want to make your own ESP so the category in-game says your name) - Changing the ESP and Material Files

1. Install Sickotik's Personal Paintings + 50 Extra (found in Sickotiks Various Paintings Pack) with NMM so the ESP file is in your load order

2. Go to your Fallout folder and run FO4edit. (See Image)

post-769561-0-12308300-1452566144_thumb.jpg

3. Right click any mod and choose "SELECT NONE"

4. Now tick Fallout4.esm and Sickotiks_Art.esm

5. Click okay and wait for it all to load

6. On the right side of the menu press the little + sign next to Sickotiks_ Art. Do the same for all the other +'s that drop down.

7. Under "Constructable Object" click PAINTINGS and you should see this. (See Image1)

post-769561-0-06210600-1452566146_thumb.jpg

8. Where you see "Sickotik's Art"(There are two of these), right click it, select edit, and change it to the file name of your choice. (This will be what the menu is called in game, in the settlement building menu)

9. Under "FormID List" click WorkshopMenu1. Do the same as above here. Where you see "Sickotik's Art" right click, edit, change to your same name.

10.Under "FormID List" click GalleryList. Do the same as above. Anywhere you see "Sickotik's Art" change it.

11.Under "Keyword" click paintings. Do the same as above.

12.Now under "Material Swap" you're going to have to do the same as above A LOT of times. Go through EACH of the drop down items, IE; "010082b  RgalSwap01", click it, change "SickotiksArt" what you plan on naming these by the folder you will setup shortly. It must match the folder name.

post-769561-0-13559100-1452566148_thumb.jpg

13.Close and Save and overwrite the ESP.

Step Three - Setting up your folders.

1. Go to your Fallout4>Data>Materials>setdressing>SickotiksArt folder and rename it to whatever you have been changing it to in Fo4edit this whole time.

2. Open the folder, right click the first file, open with Notepad.

3. Open each file, one at a time, with notepad, and change "SickotiksArt" to whatever YOUR folder is called. Do this for ALL the files.

4. Go to your Fallout4>Data>Textures>SetDressing>SickotiksArt and rename it the same thing you've been renaming everything. It needs to be the same name for both the texture and materials folders.

Step Four - Creating Your Mod

1. Make a new folder on your desktop called data

2. Make 2 folders inside the data folder. One called textures and one called materials.

3. From your Fallout4>Data>Materials>Setdressing folder, copy your newly named folder.

4. Paste it into the materials folder you just made on your desktop.

5. From your Fallout4>Data>Textures>SetDressing> folder, copy your newly named folder.

6. Paste it into the textures folder you just made on your desktop.

7. From your Fallout4>Data folder, copy the ESP called "Sickotiks_Art".

8. Paste it into the data folder you just created on your desktop and rename it whatever you want your ESP to be called.

9. Right click your new Data folder, select "Add to Archive" and name your mod. Press Okay.

10. You now have a mod you can install with a Mod Manager. Congratulations.

I hope this helped all of you. Enjoy! Special thanks to Higs for helping me along in this process!

I have watched the video and it looked great. Personally I have not played Fallout 4 yet because I am looking at the best mods and will be installing them after couple of months later when the creation kit will be released. I have not seen an original versions, but it looks like a high quality to me. Will definitely download this mod in the future. Good job! :)

I thought that was obvious ??? I still love it its fresh and looks like something I would see while at a comic book store. still hope you do this for the military mags you can find that would be amazing.  like who goes there with a synth weilding a bloody trench knife and a dead communist trooper.

Hi,

I've installed the mod including the Sickotiks_Art.esp, but I'm not getting the extra paintings. I only get the basic ones or with "Art Gallery" installed the basic ones plus the one that one adds, but with or without "Art Gallery", I don't get the extra paintings from this mod. Do I need anything besides the "Sickotik's Extra Lore Friendly Painting Pack" to make it work?

I'm using NMM btw.

I could have missed a line when writing the FO4edit changes. I'll install it myself when I get home, and find the issue. Within 24 hours.
