First of all great job with this mod i took one look at this mod and said PERFECT!!! and the fact that i comeback to it after a while to see it had expanded past magazines is great.

also I included your mod in my latest mod compilation

sadly it doesn't include that you have expanded past magazines because i didn't know that at the time i was working on the video.

thanks for all the work you have put into this mod.

Awesome man thanks for the spotlight!

Not to nitpick so don't take this the wrong way but most of the magazines you showed, were actually the vanilla magazines and not mine. Mine are better than the vanilla. lol. No but seriously, thank you very much man. And since you had some of the older vanilla magazines showing up, you may have only downloaded one of the magazine files. You need to get both the Hi Res and the Low Res Magazine Files. I'm not sure what it does in game but I know you need both. Cheers for the video!

PS, I will have the COMPLETED FULL VERSION of this mod uploaded within the hour. Just a headsup.

It's up now. And video editing is awesome fun. That's what I do for a job actually. You'll be 100 times better in just a month if you keep at it. Put out atleast one Fallout Mods video a week and not only will you become amazing at it but you'll gain a huge following and your vocal work will improve loads. My biggest Achilles heel was my own vocal work sucking. After a half a dozen videos though I found "the voice". It's a fun craft man, enjoy it.

soo i have a qustion that might have already been answered by a guy whose english i can't understand:

can you install this with nmm? because it doesn't seem to be working.

Thanks!

Probably Not?  Due to the files not been in data format List, I would do it manually if i were you! Here is where the Mags go: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data\textures\props\ComicsAndMagazinesHighRes

& The Billboard posters go here: (Not 100% Sure) C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data\textures\SetDressing\Signage

Hope this helps!

Um...

When there's a prewar version of a painting I think the "postwar" version should match it (except with war damage).

If you want all your home paintings to look like shit, yea. I gave everything but the craftable paintings distress. And I didn't "match" the paintings because do you want to see the same painting all over the game or do you want to see different stuff. I was doing you a favor.

Would there happen to be versions of the billboards and signs and things that are undamaged? I know that sorta kills the realism a bit, but I sorta want undamaged versions. If they don't exist, that's fine, I was just curious.

Now for the compliment, amazing work on this, these are great. They fit the feel of the game really well, but also look very nice.

Unfortunately I'd have to completely remake them all to make them all clean, plus I deleted the original files. So, I'd have to search the internet again. Sorry man. I do however appreciate that compliment though.

Eh, that's okay. I knew I shouldn't have been too hopeful that you still had the layered .psd files or shit, but couldn't have hurt to ask. Again, I adore all your retextures, these fit the style of the game the best I have or probably will ever see.

Are there really that many "prewar" paintings?

Maybe I am wrong? I totally thought those would only show up in the "before the bombs dropped" scenes...

No, there's honestly about a third as many prewar paintings. And they show up randomly ALL over the game and not just during that opening.

dunno if its me missing a file or intended or been mentioned before but there is no cover for U.S Special Ops magazines? the ones that give you increased stealth..

edit nvm I found em  .. lol.. files are there so problem is my end :)

I didn't change the look of the Special Ops magazines, because to be lore friendly, an official military magazine would look like that.

I'm getting an error message with the magazines part two and misc files will not open.

Kinda the same here. Misc and paintings are 0 KB files when I try to download them Scratch that. None of the files have the size indicated by the download page.Tried with a different browser and same result. The billboards file, for instance, is 744 kb only instead of 73 MB.

On a different note, how does this mod differ from "Sickotik's Personal Porn Overhaul 1.2" (that mod's "Paintings" file is 0kb as well, btw)?

I just ran into the exact same problem, someone posted about it here http://www.loverslab.com/topic/13724-problems-with-downloads/page-8

Sometimes the extension changes to "solitaire theme8", other times the extension is right, but the file is either 0kb or 744kb. Changing browser (Firefox/Internet Explorer/M$ Edge) doesn't help. I haven't tried Chrome yet, that one might work because it handles some things differently, but not sure.

I *think* it's a Windows 10 problem, and that the internet connection somehow messes things up from the redirection mechanics on the downloads page. Anyway, not sure here, the post I linked above couldn't find anything else about it either, and from googling, it seems it's a LoversLab Exclusive.
