spoonsinger Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 View File A simple mod to remove the apparel from the player character, on a save load, and then redress them with what was removed.  WHY?!!!??!!!!!  Well the churlish answer is, "If you don't know, you are probably in the 99.9% of people who don't have a use for this", but the actual answer is sometimes a game is bollox'd in a subtle manner which you can't find the solution for. However as it's generally running fine, other than for a specific problem, you take the big CK sledgehammer to it and waste an .esp slot for a solution. For me this works for occasional armor texture glitches on game load, (specifically certain TRX armors, certain Tera Armors and - more worryingly - recently certain devious device leggings. Also helps when high heels doesn't click in on a save/load)  Anyway moan all you want about the dubious nature of this.  Thanks To  Ashal - because this is basically 98% scientifically cut and pasted code from sexlab. (Yes I can refactor it if required but saying "thank you" is probably easier). Submitter spoonsinger Submitted 12/16/2015 Category Other Requires Special Edition Compatible
JuliusXX Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 Just for info if someone is interested. I had a similar issue with the textures when I loaded a save and could only fix it by unequipping and re-equipping the armor. It took me some time to find the reason but finally I managed to google it. The reason in my case was the Racemenu mod. If the weight slider (under body tab) is set somewhere between 0 and 1 then some armor textures are not loaded. Keeping the weight slider at 1.00 has worked well for me and no texture problems. I haven't tested the 0.00 value but that should also work.
Niobia Posted November 21, 2016 Posted November 21, 2016 This is perfect for people who use BodySlide Morphs. If you don't use a a weight of 0 when using those morphs, your skin and clothing textures will glitch out and you have to go into the racemenu or take off and put everything back on. This makes things easier. Thanks for making this.
Make-Use-Of-ME Posted March 28, 2023 Posted March 28, 2023 I'm curious since I've always wanted to have a mod to simply strip the character that you change in RaceMenu if I could alter this mod to unequip clothing till you finish creating character? If so, I'd like to send your way as I bet that would be a simple edit away.
