junkacc Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 It's locked that's where, but it needs revisiting. Why? Because they stole some of my files while they were hidden! I had some never b4 released files uploaded and hidden with their download counters at zero, when I noticed all of them went up to one. Someone stole them while they were hidden!!! Oh the travesty..... my filez!!!! Anyway, the reason I was so upset about it is because I was on the fence whether I should or shouldn't release. Coulda improved them but now there's no point after being violated and defiled. So let this be a warning to you all. Your filez are not safe on nexus because they are hidden. Powertripping klepto admins and staff run nexus. Hey, while on the topic of powertripping. does anyone know what this does? Does it mean they can't view, download, and comment on my files? (no I'm not about to ban you gep5)
Kendo 2 Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 bben and budda steal files from Nexus and store them on the StormRaven Library in a secret section only a select few can view there. They've been doing it since 2007. StormRaven himself told me that; strait from the horse's mouth and all that. He was proud of it too and tried to pull the same stunt when Exnem had his forum up and StormRaven was an admin there. But Exnem is a thief too so that's no real shock either. My suggestion, contact Dark0ne directly and ask him who downloaded your files. He'll know within a few key strokes, that is if he doesn't lie to you like he does to everyone else.
junkacc Posted December 16, 2015 Author Posted December 16, 2015 Yea it SUX! What are your opinions on the best way to save bandwidth and thus costs for sites like LL and yet keep interaction with Nexus to a minimum? I just browsed the Oblivion section of LL for research. There's a lot of specialized stuff but very sparse in the generic mods department. Perhaps that's the pattern I should follow. Dump the shitty generic stuff on Nexus and keep the special ones here?
NickNozownik Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 Perhaps that's the pattern I should follow. Dump the shitty generic stuff on Nexus and keep the special ones here? Sounds like a good idea. It's very unlikely that someone will steal your files here, and you won't have to deal with shifty moderators.
