[DOA5LR] For those having issues with camera unlocking via "that" DLL - Update: Added the original archives

Since many are having the same difficulties, let's try to clear things.

The DLL in question can be found here:

As it uses the same filename of the Archive_Tool/Lnk_Reshuffle's DLL, the problems appear when you simply replace it.

Following:

The 1st comes with Archive_Tool;

2nd with Lnk_Reshuffle;

And the 3rd is the one you use to free the camera.

In order to solve this, you must rename the "dinput8.dll" that comes with Archive_Tool or Lnk_Reshuffle (which you are using) to "lnk_reshuffle.dll".

And only then, place the 3DM's "dinput8.dll".

Both will be kept in the game's folder:

Aside some random problems that might appear, now you will be able to use both, swapped mods and camera tilting.

I finally got my version to run. What's weird is that in the DInput8 Notepad, the characters are in jibberish charadters and not chinese(?)

Also noticed that if you use the slow mo mode, the movies end short.

Btw guys, I found this, for "cheat engine" Trouble is, when I downloaded the main cheat engine exe, my anti virus/malware software quarantines it. This is the cheat engine related program I found. Anyone knows how to use it? Compatible for 1.04

Have you tried disabling your anti virus before downloading the cheat engine? I can confirm the camera mod works for 1.04, allows infinite zoom, unrestricted up/down rotation and allows manual rotation along all axis.

To use the cheat engine:

1. download and install the cheat engine

2. click open a cheat table button (top left) and open the camera mod file

3. run doa and while the game is running click the open process button (top left) and select your doa game exe from the list

4. check the first two boxes (as in the screenshot)

6. check the boxes for infinite zoom and/or remove rotation limit to enable those features

7. the entries marked ??? rotate the camera along specific axis, double click on the value entry and try changing it to any numerical value to see how it rotates the camera

Done everything like you said, but I can't tick any of the boxes in cheatengine, any idea why not?

Edit: game crashes each time I tick a box from "enable big zoom to infinite zoom part3"

Just use the din8input instead. I got mine working. But the source wasn't 3DM and the data content in the notepad was in gibberish and not Chinese. The Chinese version slows the entire exe down.

It's the one in the first post. If you use lnk reshuffle just rename the lnk reshuffle file. The issue that you need to watch out for is the language/regional compatibility.

This is what I use. Be sure to rename your lnk reshuffle if you use it.

There's no updates for the "dlls" since 2015/10/17.

I'm running the actual Valentines pack mod by Squizzo.

well i tried that one, i even deleted my game and used it again and it still crashes, dont know how i got to work last time.

Did you read the OP?

Yes. Archive_tool won't work if there is no dinput8.dll. And you must have dinput8.dll if you wanna unlock camera. So I want to know how should I do?

the one you want to be called lnk_reshuffle.dll is the one you find in the folder of lnk_reshuffle, it comes as dinput8.dll but change it to lnk_reshuffle.dll and the camera one, leave as dinput8.dll. you put both in the doa5lr folder and that about it oh and you need the

dinput.ini for the camera to work.

Is it possible to make the keyboard commands more smooth?

The up and down and left and right keys move the image very jerkily. One tap moves the image way too much when I want to make captures and the rotation in horizontal seems to have a rather high speed. It would be better if it did a slow sweep when I hold the key down.

Is there a way to modify the keyboard software for it to do this or can one make a setting in the modded files?

Fyi, you do know how to pause yes?

F1=Slow mo but if you use this on the movie gravure, it sometimes ends the movie earlier than its normal run (useless or redundant as you can pause the scene aytime you want)

F4= tilt the shot

Use a fighting stick (aka like that of a console machine controller) to sweep/position using the L3 and R3 controls. So what's so hard with the current setup?

I'm on a PC so I don't have any gaming related extra controls.

I do know how to pause, yes.

It's when I want to take captures I need the keyboard commands to be less jerky.

I would like more of a slow tilt/slow sweep.

I don't own a fighting stick.

Not really a gamer...
