SCarverOrne Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 I've had a weird, ongoing problem for quite some time and thought I should share it here and see if anyone else has it happen. About half the time I select a target for editing (often to select their voices or the like) my game will just freeze up. Papyrus doesn't show anything of note happening. Since in another thread I see a lot of people having their game CTD when loading saves with the latest version of SexLab, I thought maybe this could be related (runaway scripts, save bloat, etc.)
swmas Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 It happened to me once, try setting it to a different key because quite a lot of mods use the "N" key for selecting npc.
Fredfish Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 I get a freeze if I try to repeatedly change an NPCs stats, I've also noticed that my RAM fills up as I play Skyrim now. I have no idea which mod causes this (I have 8GB of RAM, Windows 10 uses about 1.5 GB and after a few hours of play I can end up with 6 or 7GB in use even after I shut the game down)
SCarverOrne Posted November 2, 2015 Author Posted November 2, 2015 Ok, so what happens almost without fail: say I'm in a tavern or somewhere where there are a bunch of npcs. And say I'm going to activate MassMatchMaker or RandomSex or something, so first I want to assign the right voices to the right actors. I target them, go into the SL menu, and set the names. No problem. At least until I get to the fifth or sixth person, particularly if it is a non-vanilla npc. I press target, and the game freezes. What. The. Crap. I have no idea. This is with the latest version of the framework, fwiw.
