I've been experimenting for hours to see why saves never work and I just finally confirmed that whenever i tick the option for Allowing Creature animations in the MCM for Sexlab, it pretty much breaks my save. I even tried making several new games to see if it was still the problem, without enabling any other mod i had installed. So basically, no matter what, when ever i enable creature animations to work in sexlab it immediately makes my game unloadable from the moment i tick it. Can anyone help me with this? By the way, whenever I use the Savetool for skyrim on the save that has the creature animations allowed ticked, the tool crashes immediately when I open the save. Takes some reading setting it up but since you keep every mod in it's own folder with mod organizer you won't have to reinstall skyrim ever again.

I do use mod organizer, but i found it better to just reinstall the game and slowly add new mods until I find something broken. Mod organizer or not, its very time consuming to find whats wrong with everything when you have 200+ mods installed with some of the esps even merged together using tes V edit. Besides, I've already delete skyrim and mod organizer, freeing up probably around 100gb worth of crap

I find that running that mod helps with microstutter as trees get loaded in outdoors and in fact improves stability in some places. No aroused creatures, just SexLab Aroused Redux. I believe that Aroused Creatures is no longer needed with the latest version of More Nasty Creatures. Also are you using SKSE.ini memory fix? Yes, I do use the skse memory fix. My base setup is a slightly modified STEP Extended. After 6-8 hours of testing, and enabling and disabling various SexLab mods, and pouring through my papyrus logs it seems like there is a hard limit to scripts that can run at once. My rig is a modern, powerful rig running a core i7 Skylake 4ghz and a 980gtx ti with 64gb of ddr5. My logic for this comes from 198 esps, several that are script heavy and a few that do things with cloak spells. However, as you'll notice I'm still very far from the 255 hard limit. Upon adding the 199th esp: either prison overhaul, estrus, breeder, untamed, sacrificial spriggan, forsworn story, etc. the save would become corrupted and unloadable. Mind you by corrupted I mean that the game doesn't show the corrupted message. What I mean is that it won't load in the game, it crashes Skyrim Save Tool, and will not open in PDTWrapper. My next tests will be running a default Skyrim profile with just SexLab mods installed to see if lowering the script count from mods like xmpse, wet and cold, dyndolod, DSR, etc. One thing I've found is that some of the heavier script mods like Estrus (Estrus causes a lot of errors in the papyrus log) or things that change a lot like a forsworn story, from the deeps, Mia's Lair, etc will cause the unloadable saves bug earlier but it can't be pinpointed to one mod. These sex mods by themselves load and save fine. I've also tried different combinations and again, a specific combination that causes the issue can not be found. One important thing to note is that on a new game all script heavy SexLab mods will run together on this test profile until an expected crash some hours later (This is Skyrim, after all). The only issue is that any saves made will again be unloadable, even from the prison cell in alternate start.

I removed that and started a new save game and now it doesn't work. As soon as creature animations are installed, any new saves will get corrupted. I'm going to keep working on this. Anyone want to post papyrus logs? A possible workaround I'm thinking about is turning creature animations off when you save since creature animations work fine in game. Do you have Aroused Creatures or DynDoLod installed? Does disabling either of them make any difference? Dynodolod is installed, if that makes a difference. I find that running that mod helps with microstutter as trees get loaded in outdoors and in fact improves stability in some places. No aroused creatures, just SexLab Aroused Redux. I believe that Aroused Creatures is no longer needed with the latest version of More Nasty Creatures. Also are you using SKSE.ini memory fix? Yes, I do use the skse memory fix. My base setup is a slightly modified STEP Extended. After 6-8 hours of testing, and enabling and disabling various SexLab mods, and pouring through my papyrus logs it seems like there is a hard limit to scripts that can run at once. My rig is a modern, powerful rig running a core i7 Skylake 4ghz and a 980gtx ti with 64gb of ddr5. My logic for this comes from 198 esps, several that are script heavy and a few that do things with cloak spells. However, as you'll notice I'm still very far from the 255 hard limit. Upon adding the 199th esp: either prison overhaul, estrus, breeder, untamed, sacrificial spriggan, forsworn story, etc. the save would become corrupted and unloadable. Mind you by corrupted I mean that the game doesn't show the corrupted message. What I mean is that it won't load in the game, it crashes Skyrim Save Tool, and will not open in PDTWrapper. My next tests will be running a default Skyrim profile with just SexLab mods installed to see if lowering the script count from mods like xmpse, wet and cold, dyndolod, DSR, etc. One thing I've found is that some of the heavier script mods like Estrus (Estrus causes a lot of errors in the papyrus log) or things that change a lot like a forsworn story, from the deeps, Mia's Lair, etc will cause the unloadable saves bug earlier but it can't be pinpointed to one mod. These sex mods by themselves load and save fine. I've also tried different combinations and again, a specific combination that causes the issue can not be found. One important thing to note is that on a new game all script heavy SexLab mods will run together on this test profile until an expected crash some hours later (This is Skyrim, after all). The only issue is that any saves made will again be unloadable, even from the prison cell in alternate start. Your logic is compelling, and reflects my own experiences. Except... There's still something about animations. The title of this topic says it all -- for most people on this site who have described the corrupted save issue, the problem either starts when we enable creature animations in sexlab, or when we enable creature animations and then register a bunch of extra animations from SLAL or NSAP.

It might be one of the reasons why NSAP is now defunct besides the main reason. I'm continuing to test tonight. Was playing fine yesterday and saving and loading fine but today saves won't load. I may have reregistered nsap animations between saves. I don't really remember so I'll test that now. Update: Removed NSAP, still a problem. To be specific, it worked well enough for a few hours of saves and then something unknown changed during gameplay. In tonight's session I was just doing some Amorous Adventures quests and Dibella's Sisterhood quests. Again, can't tie it down as I did not mess with the mcm options in any way. I am uploading a snippet of my papyrus logs starting from the bottom before crash as perhaps more heads are better for this. Many errors this time are CF (Creature Framework?) errors. I am also uploading my Mod Organizer Modlist and my active load order. Papyrus Log.txt modlist.txt plugins.txt

I am also uploading my Mod Organizer Modlist and my active load order. Creature Framework just spews error messages all the time, it's normal. Have you tried getting disabling More Nasty Critters? Just the esp, not the whole mod. It adds a LOT of animations, and doesn't allow selection of which ones you want. It really needs to get made into a SLAL pack at some point. A lot of it is stuff like animations for rabbits and chickens and skeevers and cows, stuff that many users could disable without ever missing it.
Centrophy Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 I have not. I did notice that the papyrus error logs from this session where the problems began rose from 67kb to 513kb. I assumed it may be that as these errors do not exist in the other logs. Granted, Estrus errors also don't appear when estrus is loaded by itself. Update: Currently testing a sexlab only build where only sexlab and devious devices type mods are loaded. Obviously I had to load prerequisites like racemenu and skyui. An interesting note is that I had to disable some sexlab mods in order for it to even start a new game. The mods I disabled are sl sexual fame, hydra slavegirls, skoomawhore, slaverun reloaded and comments, zdd, branding device of doom, simple slavery, milk mod economy, and untamed. Besides the Slaverun mods, any of these enabled with the rest will cause the game to not load. I also disabled the hearthfires version of gagSFX as that throws up errors in merge plugins while testing ( I haven't merged any plugins). The idea that there is a hard script limit is looking more likely; perhaps in the sense of script cache size. I will playtest this build over the course of a few days and see if the dreaded save corruption bug crops up since that doesn't always show up until several hours into a game session. plugins.txt modlist.txt
