I know this was barely touched upon in an older thread some time ago back when HDT hair was still pretty much new. But i was curious if anyone happened to find a fix for this? all of the mannequin's in my game look like my character and changing it's sex doesn't change it's head or the hair on it, nor does changing the race, etc. So i was curious if there is a patch that will make mods that make mannequin's take the appearance of the player and HDT hair work together? otherwise it'll just keep eating away at me lol.

I find this requirement funny,  for what needs a mannequin HDT hair?
in most cases there stands a mannequin in a room around, or can your mannequin Lambada dance? ;)  :P

because the mannequin doesn't have an appropriate skeleton.

there's no difference between a mannequin and aela or baalgruf

mannequin stay where it is, that's all

I must you agree.

I use a mod, where the mannequin various positions of (poses) occupy can, but for that, needs one no hair Physics! ;)

The problem is when you use a mod that copies the look of your character onto the mannequins, and you're using HDT hair. Something about the way mannequins are loaded in a frozen position makes HDT hair stretch to infinity.

The only fix I've found so far is making your character so that you don't start with HDT hair, and only changing to the HDT style later on.
