w0mpy Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 I recently decided to do a full reinstall of my skyrim because of the occasional crash (usually at least 1-2 in a couple hours of play with rare frequent crashing in certain areas of the world) and have run into the new issue of getting a CTD everytime I remove characters chest armor. I have read other threads about this exact issue but none of the fixes are working out for me. I have newest version of xpmse, bodyslide 2 and outfit studio, and sg female textures renewal (with all their requirements). I have tried reinstalling the mods but still no luck. Have never had a problem like this.
TnTTnT Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 When you install skeleton, did you install it last or perhaps it being overwritten by some other mods?
myuhinny Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 CTD when clothes come off is a 90% chance a skeleton issue. Make sure you have a compatible skeleton that is compatible with the body you are using and make sure that nothing has overwritten it.
w0mpy Posted September 9, 2015 Author Posted September 9, 2015 Hmm, i did some more tinkering and it seems to actually be from trying to use uunp special with bodyslide, if I go to uunp normal it works. I'm not really willing to settle for normal uunp without physics though. I have also tried installing cbbe and switching it up... no crash now but bad tearing issues and no physics while using nothing but cbbe and bodyslide. The preview in bodyslide looks fine, in game does not. I guess it could still be skeleton issues but I can't see a way to fix it. I've tried reinstalling.
w0mpy Posted September 9, 2015 Author Posted September 9, 2015 I feel like I'm missing something key with bodyslide and outfit studio but can't for the life of me figure it out.
gvman3670 Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 UUNP Special has the HDT vagina. UUNP HDT has physics but no functioning vag. And if you're crashing when removing chest armor it's usually because the skeleton has been overwritten. Reinstall the skeleton and allow overwrites if you're using NMM or manually installing, if you're using MO then drag the skeleton lower in the left pane.
w0mpy Posted September 9, 2015 Author Posted September 9, 2015 Well guys, thanks for your help but I finally figured out the problem. While reinstalling everything I thought I had HDT physics extension.. and while skimming my mods I would see HDT higheels system and think that was it. So yeah, totally my fault and I feel stupid but at least it's mostly working. Problem I'm having now is when I try to use xpms animation pack with the feminine walking/running animations my pc's butt suddenly crushes inwards. While on vanilla animations there's no problem.
